Are Passive abilities not considered actual abilities or could the Master of just not bear the thought of parting ways with his Dolls? :>

Just the active ones (added to faq). I hate all these name definitions and what not, so just listing which ones were banned seemed that much easier :p

Yep, banned now, and you forgot some creatures on that list (noticed Graviton Mercenary missing at first glance).

Are we allowed to use spells to give creatures that don't have abilities, abilities? If not, grr for Mitosis

I wonder if there is wisdom in banning spells that create creatures, specifically flying weapon & nymph's tears.

It was definetly discussed before posting this thread (I had composed a huge list including Aflatoxin and what not), but decided to not ban Spells or Permanents.

Why is GotP and Voodoo Doll not banned? I believe they contradict the rules in the OP. I can't see a reason why they should not be. If they are allowed to be used, then these creatures should be allowed as well: Forest/Dune Scorpion, Deathstalker, Minor Vampire, Sapphire Charger, Gnome Rider, Dragonfly, Firefly. Correct me if I'm wrong but they all have unactivated abilities and no immaterialness as well.

Voodoo's Voodoo and Ghost of the Past's Obsession are passives. They cannot be lobotomized unlike the others (with a clear exception for immaterialness, but merely because you can't target it).
