not to mention that SHUT is on sunday...
SHUT isn't an obstacle. People will have unofficial tourneys on any given day. In fact, SHUT won't even change name if we do change to Sunday, because it'd be Saturday's Homemade Unofficial Tournament. ;>
What was the point of reposting what we already read?
Use the modify button to modify your original post instead of double posting.
The point of requoting that was that I had already asked that question on the first page and Higs had already answered it. It's the second and third posts in the topic, so do try to read the thread incase you're asking something already stated.
Gotcha, soz. Just need posts!

I understand lots of people go to church on Sundays, but church doesn't take all day, does it? Maybe a different time? And you don't have to procrastinate on your homework.
I voted Sunday because I'm never home on Saturday, volunteering most of the day. I don't want to sound selfish, I'm just explaining my vote because there were hardly any posts here in support of Saturday.
One other thing. If we vote on the day of week, are we going to vote the times again?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking about church as well. Sundays are perfect for me since there's always something going down on Saturday (party, BBQ, etc.).

No, we're pleased with the current rotation schedule. We're getting more participants than ever with it.

For me both days are good, but Sundays are a little bit more rushed.

Like I said in top-secret Council section, I think that we should have one "special tournament" (with slightly smaller prizes) next week on Sunday, and see how many people show up. If it is a big success, we might do more of them.

I can agree to this, you'll need to set up the times for them.

Just keep track of the numbers; compare it to the normal #'s for Saturday's tournies.

Like I said before. Why not just do it on both days? Saturday and Sunday. The Eastern on Saturday and Western on Sunday or both on Saturday and the people that couldn't make it on Saturday can go on Sunday. The people that participated on Saturdays can't play Sunday's or maybe if they didn't past the first round then they can play Sunday too. So everyone can be happy. It honestly wouldn't be that complicated. Only need a TO to be there and do the Brackets. and participate if they want.

The only problem I think you guys might have is having to give out 4 more prizes. But, 4 is not a lot more. Maybe the 2 winners can face each other and the 2 people that came in 2nd can face each other and the 2 winners in 3rd place can face each other and.... (you get the point)

We're not having more official tournaments. End of story. I've already mentioned we'll consider having one of the two on Sunday, but, again, that's what we're collecting information on here and by trying one with lesser prizes next week.

4 prizes, cool.

But that means winners from saturday will have to be on Sunday. That's more stress for Organizers, and more stress for the top 4 (Or top 8 here in your saying.).

You think it's not complicated, but it actually is a little more then it seems... We do the brackets, update it, play the tournament, answer questions... plus, both days would make tournaments "Longer" due to the needs of top 4 having to fight the other top 4 (In your saying.) One saturday one sunday actually does look good... but we can just wait as well. If all goes well for the Sunday Test (SG's post), then we'll see how it rolls later, I guess.

Well, like i said, maybe they could do that, the 4 winners face the otehr 4 winners but giving out 4 more prizes can't be so bad...

It can get to be, too many prizes can be bad.
