What exactly did you salvage again Xinef? I like this new Vault system, but I wasn't sure what our previous vault looked like in terms of the contents...

Otherwise, this spreadsheet is a godsend.

We need to get started on round 3 deckbuilding. I'm playing again, plastiqe this time. I wish i had that scarab fractal deck again, i just know it would work this round =(. Anyways, against fire i might try to use a pharaoh deck, similar to the one that belthazar used last round (except i want more pillars!). So far, were 5-7, it could be a whole lot worse!

Hmm... with 252 cards... we lost 90 and won 18... this adds up to 180...

so we'll have to design 6 decks, containing all the cards we have...

so basically this round we won't be able to make too many adjustments to deck, we just have to go with whatever we have. Though... I'm against making suicide decks, I'd rather make a kamikaze deck to take the opponent down too ;P

Are you sure about the non-suicide decks? I mean, we wouldn't want to give another chance to reap more of our cards...

On that note though, I'm looking at our vault, and I'm not sure if we can make 6 individual decks with 50% of each deck being cards (unless I'm counting wrong)...

As long as we have 90 tine cards we have to make 6 decks  I'm on my phone so I can't see what we have, but that's our situation if we have 90. For every 15 time cards we have we have to build. Legal deck. This round should be fun!

I guess that's mainly my fault, for designing decks that stood little chance against poison... though I thought they'd use poison+bonewalls, which would be deadly no matter what.


As for suicide decks... my point is, are we playing to win this war? To lose as late as possible? To have fun?

After you've answered these questions for yourselves, I'll just say I'm a proud warrior, loyal to till the very end, so I'll not give a single victory to our opponents without a fight.
I'd say we're going to win this war or die trying, but we're immortal so it makes little sense

Now I see we have some cards that won't be very useful in this round probably, especially those sundials and precognitions... someone will have to use a flying eternities deck with those shockwaves, someone will make a rush with earthquakes, someone will have to take the darkness deck, someone will have to take the discord deck, someone will have to take deflags and red nymph, someone will have to make the empathic bond deck... and someone will make a deck with 3 phase shields and whatever aether cards we salvage...

Or we indeed make a suicide deck with sundials, deflags, red nymph, precognitions, phase shields and whatever.

Oh gee... that's a hard choice.

The problem is that we have to build decks in a way that we can make 6 full decks. I think we should salvage cards to make 4 or 5 reasonable decks and then have a suicide deck with things like phase shield and some deflags/ burning pillars. I'll try to figure out some more possibilities later today when i have time, this is just a start.

Also, remember these decks won't be perfect, probably not good either, we just need decks that CAN win - we're building in very tight parameters

All depends on your definition of "good" =)  I posted a few decks in the decks section and another deck possibility. I think we've got a good shot at 5 solid decks, but we can cut it down to 4 if need be.
