Just to say that I wasn't on yesterday because I was sick and tonight, I'm not sleeping at home so I won't be on either, I'll be back sunday evening local time for the next event card.

I just wanted to say that even though we only went 3-4 last round (7) and we're in 3rd place, we're still looking pretty good.  Earth and Entropy, the only two teams ahead of us, have to field 6 decks, while we only have to field 4.  If you look at (vault size) - (30 cards x # of deck required in round 8) we have the most freedom with 36 extra cards.  (156 card vault, 120 cards for decks)  Death is next with 32 (122, 90), but they're behind us by a bunch thanks to Napalm's 11th hour win.

I will probably play the quarterfinal at around 19 GMT tomorrow onward, for those interested.

I want to thank all of you for being a bunch of really nice guys who managed to form a team that aspired to victory, it was exactly what I was hoping for when I signed up.

Thank you again, 10 men, for drafting me in the first place, I hope I fulfilled your expectations. Without you, I'd still be grinding AI on Kong, and even though I liked before already, it will stay #1 for me from now on.

I hope we can all team up together again at some point to set things right

Seconded.  I had a great time with War and with all of you guys.  I hope I'll see you all in other events.  I also hope you won't take it the wrong way if I play for another team in round 5; Time is awesome, but I want to try another element next time.  Just so you know it's not a reflection on any of you guys; you were all great, but it'll be time for a change :p

Ten, I can't thank you enough for making this team. I'm very happy for the chance of representing  my favorite element in War. I also met a great group of players, with whom not only I got to strategise, but also have fun, cheer and share our frustrations. You guys are great - I had a wonderful time in these ten rounds thanks to all of you! I hope we can play together or even against each other many more times!

Guys, this was a blast for me. Been offline since Friday because of a screw up with AT&T moving my DSL... Was sorry to log in at my parents house and find out that it was over... Haven't even looked at any war stuff, just got a msg from ITR.

Boss, you are a fine young man and I am very proud to have served under your guidance during my first war. Thank you so much for placing a bid on me and believing that I had something to offer.
Guys, I value the time we spent strategizing, cutting up, playing matches and just plain ol' hanging out. I could have never asked for a better group to go into battle with. I hope I contributed in some way if only for comedic relief...

So we didn't win it after all...

Still, I think we can be happy with what we accomplished. People had dismissed Time as an underpowered/mediocre Element, but we not only managed to finish 4th (3rd?), we also dominated the War over parts, getting the highest winrate (together with Earth and Entropy) and the best winrate for single games. And on top of that we did not get a single bye or suicide win. With a little more luck in that respect or Event cards, we could have gone even further. What's more important however is that we had a lot of fun throughout the entire Event, even if we were not winning.

I wish you good luck with taking down Platinum decks and hopefully a few well-deserved tourney wins.valuka: My War mega-vet. Having you in chat is always a pleasure. Your attitude when playing is commendable, and I hope you will see 4 more Wars!bripod: You are a fine old man (), and a great guy to chat with, always providing us with Entertainment, and theories about unbeatable Anubis decks. Well, I'm certainly glad that you thought I was a good lieutenant, and while I was definitely doing my best and thought I did a decent job, I do think anyone on the team would have done just as well in the role.  I don't know about the tourney wins... I got another stupid second place this weekend, lol.  I just can't get it together :p

Being my first war, I don't know how Time has done in previous rounds, but it's a good element, and we did quite well.  From what I understand, though, it seems this was Time's best performance so far.

Good luck to everyone, and hopefully I'll be on the same team as a few of you next war, or in other events.  I'm too ass-lazy to ever try out for a general and bid on you guys (unless they start handing out marks for it :p) but I look forward to strategizing with you all in future events.
