At a rough glance, it looks like we can build a ghostal (or two), a poison dial, a novabow (or two), a light stall (or two), and maybe some silly time/death deck.  (though obviously not all of those at once)

For my match vs earth, I would prefer to use a novabow.  The decks they've been beating us with are earth/air wings and earth/gravity pulverizer, and novabow with pulverizer.  If I had a darkness mark, we salvaged the steals/nightmare from death, and I had the two explosions in my deck, I think I could handle any of those.  The problem with that is that it uses ALL our pc in the vault, leaving none for anybody else on the team.  However, I'm not sure what other decks we can build that would even use the pc.  Playing the dark mark would also let me use lycanthrope and nightmare(s), and maybe even some other dark cards if we salvaged them from the death/dark deck, though I doubt I'd use any of the other ones there.  (dusk is good and should probably be salvaged, but I'd rather play fog in novabow)  I think I could build a pretty good one, although with a dark mark I wouldn't be able to use more than one graboid at most, so I'd have to use more pillars and some time creatures if I did that.

edit: I think I just had a better idea.  Instead of dark mark, use earth mark.  I could still use 2 explosion 1x upped steal and then I could use 3 upped graboids which would take 2 hits to kill with EE. (meaning I could burrow it in time)  I could use the unupped ones as well, though they're more vulnerable to EE.  I'd be harder pressed to squeeze in the lycan or nightmare, but one of them might be possible alongside the steal.  I'd also like to have 1 or 2 more pillar/pends than I had the last time I played a novabow; quanta was pretty tight there some games.

Again, unlikely they'll play Ghostmare vs us, TORB's deck could be an option, and using the event card, their Ltd could also build an evil mono (rush?), they could have built a :darkness / poison duo last round that they didn't use, this one might also make an appearance.

vs their EQ deck and their poison deck, but the trainer results aren't conclusive at all, I did not lose a single match due to ai's stupid habit to get Eternity locked on an empty hand, was the same every time.

As every :darkness deck has at least two Steals, I won't try Ghostal for now, I'll try our poison dial and maybe some Novabow (depending on what cards will be available and on DD's needs) tomorrow.

I'm going to bed pretty quickly here, and was busy all evening so I didn't work on anything, but the next few days I should have lots of time in the evenings to work on decks.  I already have a fairly good idea what I want to try (novabow) and I'm going to test it against the earth/air dragon/wings/EE deck, the earth/gravity pulvy deck, and their pulvybow.  If I can do well against all of those, I'll push for my using novabow; otherwise, it's back to the drawing board.  I'm hoping we can spare a bunch of RTs for my deck :)  10 Men also suggested in chat that I try out a monotime deck against Earth; I'm not sure if that would work, but I will definitely consider it.  It would probably involve dragons and pharaohs due to wings (scarabs fly) and then hourglass/eternity/RT or some such.  I think it should be able to beat the air duo, but pulvy might still be iffy, unless I reduce the reliance on hourglass/eternity.

I quit at 3-4 in trainer vs their EQ deck, don't think it has a chance, to much steal and healing on the other side, and EQs really cripple the needed :time quanta production for RTs and Dials, using upped Arsenics to overcome the Diamond shield doesn't really make a difference...

This was my idea for my match vs earth.  I haven't tested it yet, but I figure it's got the tools I need to win.  PC for wings/EE/pulvy, hourglass for card advantage, some CC, and some quick creatures, as well as two pharaohs in case the game drags out.  Scarabs fly and thus get around wings.  Graboids were upgraded because they then take 2x EE snipes to kill in shrieker form, and get that crucial turn to burrow in that scenario.  (assuming no shockwave hits them, which it could)

I can't get into IRC chat right now, but I'll test the deck later tonight against earth/air wings/EE, pulvybow, and earth/gravity (not sure if they even had that duo, but I'll look)

For the kick of it (and also a bit out of despair), I tested DD's Novabow vs dark, a "soldier" version with unupped Graboids, and it went pretty well, of course...

8-3 vs their EQ deck
Strangely, it didn't do well at all vs their poison deck, I went 1-6 in trainer, ok, I was distracted because I was playing at work but that still is a real tendency.

I counted wins as losses when ai stole my HG over Dusk shield.
The deck is actually all right, even though the results are not very good, it's fluid, I had only three fail draws altogether, I don't think it needs tweaking, but it only really worked vs their poison duo, the EQ deck hit it hard most of the time, and the basic, Steal heavy mono was even worse.

As I said, it's not that bad but it takes a lot of luck to beat the decks :darkness might throw at us and I'm not sure it's a better bet than the :light stall.

Ok our decks are now: -
Ghostal for me
Mono Time Nymph deck for dragonsdemesne: I wanted something that reliably beats their Fire duo and this did very well. If they play Wings we're screwed but looking at our last round decks this seems unlikely. ffun will have to sub this match because the deck has 4 Nymphs, since this would mean that dd is left out yet again bjessee offered his match to be subbed by dd.
Grabbow for bjessee: Hopefully will be unexpected.
LightStall for itr: Very few creatures in here so we can take more business. Idea is that Dusk Shield will be swarmed by Pharaoh and Diamond Shield will not turn up. (If it does you still have a small chance for deckout.)

Ok for the :light stall, would it be possible - if it isn't used otherwise -  to include a Fate Egg in the LS? Just if I go for deck out by rewinding, a Fate Egg is cheaper than a Pharaoh, and if they play Diamond Shield, they'll have EQ's to cripple our Q prod.

I just popped in, I'll be on from work in about an hour.

Hey, team! Just got back from Mexico and catching up with war events. Ten, I read your message and the thread - I'll be ready to sub for dd tomorrow, np! I'll check the deck and familiarize myself with it. I just hope I'm not too rusty from not playing for a whole week, hehe. :P

edit: Ops, played my match already! Sorry for not warning anyone. 3-0 and it turns out I was not rusty at all ;)
