Matchups:
10 men vs :water SpikeSpiegel - Lieutenant
Zso_Zso vs :air Hyroen - Lieutenant
PlayerOa vs :darkness Absol - Salvager
Anthraxx vs :aether pikachufan2164 - Scout
Scaramanga vs :fire UTAlan - Strategist

Here we go.

no-general roster but stupid Event Card makes it meaningless. :(

Anyway, what would you like to play? Our options for the round are:

- Ghostal
- Time-Light Stall
- Ghostmare (up to two, but it will be more expected this round)
- mono Time
- Grabbow
- Poisondial
- Pharabow
We also have 5 Wings randomly lingering in our Vault still which are likely to be converted this round if no one wants them.

:air Air only has 5 battles next Round.

They got a BYE. so they're gonna be able to have more flexibility in their decks.

Using ~150 cards from 237...

Just noticed and wanted it mentioned.

I say put Anthraxx vs Darkness as Salvager.
From our Scouting, we know that they have 2 Purify and 6 Sancts...
They battle, Us, Gravy, Fire & Death this Round

One more win and we get another Relic. They're pretty weak right now...

as for Up's... lets see what decks we might use and then see which one's will benefit from the ups...

Darkness, oh how I hate thee...

Their options:
- ghostmare
- vader sader
- eq dev denial
- aether splash = lightnings and fractal dragon or vamps, PU dragon is an option too, but not sure what they already discard (no PU round 3)
- sanc stall
- mono

My mindgate says they will not bring ghostmare for the fear of feeding us more GotPs. Sader is very risky too cause RT deck will stomp over it. I don't feel mono is terribly good vs. time.

This leaves denial and aether duos on the table.  Sanc stall seems less likely, ghostmare win was so close, they know we'll probably not risk it again.

Our problem is lightning, if they take it, it hurts a majority of our decks so much it's unreal. Oa's win was close to being a miracle... Also, time relies heavily on good quantum income so they will for sure consider EQ deck as well.

Deck choices:
- creatureless poison dials - lightnings will be less dangerous but heavy draining deck (vamps/saders) could be an issue
- light duo could work, not the typical stall, just slower mono-type with nymphs and sancs + 2-3 eternities to deplete his PC and seal the deal with big hitter he can't really kill fast enough.

Example deck:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5ro 5ro 5rs 5rs 5ru 5ru 5s4 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 7q5 7q5 7qk 8pq

If possible, could use 4th (or even 5th!) upgrade (pharaoh).

Tested quite a bit now, works well vs. aether duos and if I were darkness general I'd bring same deck after the last ji's crushing defeat :P

Against Air we have to use a quite flexible deck, as they have a lot of deck choices + a bye.

In R1 :air used this against us, using Exploding Times.
Spoiler for deck:

In R2 :air used this against us, using Ghostal.

In R3 we did not fight :air.

My bet would be using pharabow. It would most of the times beat both of the decks air using against us, and their grabbows would be too slow with our denial/speed. A few extra upgrades for this deck would be nice, as Air is the #1 team atm. Maybe something like this?

Could unup a pharaoh or two if we cannot afford more upgrades to this deck.

And a side note: Anthraxx, looks great. I'd go with that.

They lost w/ fire-stall and dragon-bow, so they must discard some of those

They lost against us with grabow and RoL/Hope so far.
They are likely running low on nova and/or graboid.

Their RoL/Hope was mixed success, they might try again with miracle included. Devtal is also an option for them, as well as the dragons + dimshield combos.

Roses aren't red, Violets aren't blue.
They are just a simulation, and so are you!

Decks!
Kind of an annoying round, I was hoping to see some opponents who are a little more limited in round 4, but they can still basically play anything. So I'll make a couple darttosses as usual. Thanks to everyone that helped collect intel.

Fantastic. I still wonder if it isnt good to change that RT for a Pharao

Oh, I am against Darkness now? Well, no worries :)
I'm quite sure that upping a Pharaoh instead of a Time Tower in my deck would be better, though.

I thought about that and tested it a little, it's a pretty intriguing thought. However Time quanta are pretty scarce in the deck in its current form (you basically use everything on the Hourglass). Pharaoh there seems too slow. Though if we modify the deck to have more quanta it might work. But this round we're very limited in our quanta supply so we won't do it now. Maybe another round when our pillarbase is not under as much pressure anymore we'll try it. ;)

@Anthraxx: Did you see the PM I sent you? You still need to post in the Scouting thread, you can do that in the next 10 hours, the deadline has been extended.
