Round 4 - Strategy

Ok, I updated the decks thread with some of the decks we've tested and the remaining ones with Dragoon's ideas.

And I've checked how it relates to our vault.

And Houston, we have a problem.

(Ignoring salvaging and discarding) we are short by:
1 lightning
2 phoenixes
1 procrastination
7 devonian dragons
5 scarabs
24 time pendulums

Of these, we can salvage 1 lightning and 2 phoenixes, and we can convert 12 cards into pendulums. Thus, the only remaining problems are dragons, scarabs, 1 procrastination and... 12 pendulums.

I think we should replace 3 dragons and 3 quints in valuka's deck with anubises, and replace 1 dragon somewhere with a pharaoh, and maybe some dragons in fire decks with salvaged phoenixes.

As for scarabs, they'll have to be replaced with eg. sundials or precogs in the pharaoh based deck, as fractal scarabs takes priority.

As for procrastination, the pharaoh deck will have to drop 1.

As for pendulums... I guess we simply have to redesign the decks to use the remaining 4 time factories, 4 stone pillars and 3 aether pillars instead...




And then we have to decide what to discard, so that it's all still legal (ie. leaving dragons, pillars, pendulums and a few other cards alone).

I've modified the decks to meet the requirements, and this is a list of salvages/discards I assumed:

salvage:
3 Phoenix, 2 Rage Potion, 1 Deflag
5 Dimensional Shields, 1 Lightning
2 Amethyst Dragon, 1 Abomination , 1 Maxwell's Demon, 1 Butterfly Effect, 1 Entropy Pendulum

discard:
14 death cards, 1 hourglass, 3 sundials
8 air cards, 3 eternity, 1 pharaoh, 3 time factories, 3 time pendulums
1 deflagration, 6 immolation, 6 deja vu, 5 reverse time
6 dim shields, 1 anubis, 1 eternity, 1 procrastination, 2 devonian dragons, 4 time factories, 3 time pendulums
4 graboids, 4 earthquakes, 2 basilisk bloods, 4 time pillars, 4 time pendulums

convert:
1 holy light, 1 blessing, 4 arctic squid, 1 chimera, 1 plague, 1 arsenic, 1 bone wall, 2 flying weapons


After these we were short by:
11 time factories,
1 procrastination
3 devonian dragons
1 eternity
10 time pendulums

So I guess we simply have to make a suicide deck, as we cannot convert enough cards into pillars to field another deck.


So, any suggestions what else can we do? How to change decks or discards or anything? Which deck should be replaced by a suicide deck? I'll try to visit the forums tomorrow before deadline, but I can't guarantee I'll make it.

Crap.  I thought things were gonna be tight, but this is even more than I expected.

I'd say give senabmi or Immolation the suicide since they haven't been active.  Keep whichever one has the better deck for their match.  I'll try to help with getting things in order as well tonight or tomorrow morning.

with a little luck my deck can work in this variant. But it has no chance against fractal deck, maybe i has luck not facing with this kind of deck.

One thing that I do´t like about this is if a person don´t want or can´t play war, tell us. Not go away and don´t say a thing. That makes me angry 

By the way...my deck is a little slow...I hope my hand come very good cause i´m not sure if it will work.
