Ok, now salvaging will be even more important than it was in the previous round, because we will have to use our whole vault (180 cards after salvaging and discarding).

So, any suggestions what to take? If any of you has an idea how to defeat your opponent using any of these cards we can salvage, post it here.


My thoughts are as follows:
-Gl1tch - we have 9 deflags, so no need for more. we could take druidic staffs and more life pillars as a support for our emerald pillar+empathic bond combo... it could go with our remaining 3 deja vus and maybe some pharaohs to make a self healing deck

-unionruler - we could salvage scarabs for some deck, because we already lost all our scarabs... or we could take a few aether pillars because I think we also lost all, while we still have 3 phase shields in our vault, or maybe lobotomizer if anyone needs one.

-Levgre - I guess aether pillars and lobotomizer are the only cards that could be of any use

Having problems viewing the vault on the forums, so forgive me if I've miscalculated something...

With Gl1tch, I'd say that taking Druid Staffs would make for an interesting deck if we combined it with Flying Weapon (if you use it next round Xinef, you could use a flying Staff deck which would be pretty amazing, since Animate weapon requires no quanta). I'd say we should take at least 1 staff, and the rest of them pillars - the emerald shield would be nice against unstable gases and direct bolts, but unless plastiqe or UsernameLife uses Fire Lance/Siphon Life against us directly, the shields aren't that great either.
[My suggestion: 4/5 emerald pillars + 2/1 jade staffs - no bonds, as 4 is enough with 24 required :life quanta unupped]

For unionruler, I think it's more important to ask whether or not we're going to be using a Fractal combo ever again. If we are, we might as well take a few Fractals with Scarabs and then borrow the :aether pillars from Levgre - otherwise, we should just take the pillars (of both :time and :aether) only for fueling dimensional shields (which we only have 3 of, so...).
[My suggestion: Either 3 scarabs + 3 Fractals or 3 aether pillars + 3 Fractals]

Levgre - Agreed pretty much. Just take the pillars; I thought about taking the Phase Dragon, until I realized it cost 13 unupped, so that's out of the question. ^^;; I don't know what Lobotomizer would be useful against in this round, especially against :gravity (who would probably have momentum buffs to charge any creature through shields anyway).
[My suggestion: 6 aether pillars]

Ok, OP updated with salvaged cards. I'm not sure if 3 scarabs is enough to make a scarab fractal deck, but with phase shields and sundials/hourglasses you could stall a while to get at least one... worth trying.

As for druidic staffs... without adrenaline flying staffs are not very good, but they do slow down a battle so might give time to set up the bond+dejavu+pharaoh combo... risky, but might surprise our opponent.

It might be a huge gamble, but at this point, I think that it'd be best to use and create any surprising decks against :earth/ :darkness now, to ruin their momentum. If you think 3 is too low, make it 4 scarabs and 2 fractals - we might have to face more fractal rushes soon anyway. ^^;

Druidic staffs are just there for extra healing in a bond deck - even if they can't fly I guess, +5 healing per round can still be a game changer against some decks. :)
