Oh crap, I won't be able to build a deck in the time frame.
I have no computer access at weekends.I'd expect to be facing a :water/ :death deck.
we'll build a deck for you, we still have plenty of time. I think i've got my deck ok, but i'm not sure what everyone else is using.

Oh dear...

I don't know if he's bluffing or not (or if he even KNOWS that I'm :time), but at least we also know another strategy that Gl1tch can pull out.

Well, depending on when I get back, you guys might have to build my deck for me. Don't forget though, time is running out fast.  Have a grad party to go to and might disappear for the next day or so :/

Seems everyone is busy, as the Time forums have been quite inactive. I'm almost positive i'm going with this deck...

Code: [Select]
5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rj 5ro 5ro 5rq 5rq 5rq 5rq 5rq 5rq 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 622 622 622 622
I'm going up against fire. They won't have many permanents to destroy, and the shield / eternity aren't vital in this deck, just extras. Also, fire lance won't matter much on 2 atp creatures, and as long as i can get out 4 scarabs at once, rain of fire won't be an issue. We need to start getting some decks built.. round 2 starts in 12 hours and we need to have our decks posted...

That's probably a good deck, but I think I need to do something like that against :death as well, considering they have a good amount of creature control to do me in (speed poison may kill me) - the only difference is that I'll probably be taking an Anubis to immortalize my creatures and also to be less reliant/dependent on :aether quanta. I'll be posting my deck soon (it'll have an :aether mark, but it might look slightly similar to yours in terms of ideas).

Sorry for double posting, but here's my idea for an Anubis + Pharaoh deck against :death:

Code: [Select]
5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rn 5rn 5rn 5ro 5ro 5rs 5rs 5rs 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 61t 61t 61t
The only problem I see with this deck is that it'll still get screwed over by 'speed' poisons (water mark + cheap deadly poisons + chrysaoras + cheap arsenic), unless I get a PERFECT draw each time.

Any suggestions? Sorry about my late posting. :(

I see we'll be short on pharaohs this round... last round we used mainly dragons and we have 12 out of 18 left. We have only 7 Pharaohs in our vault though, so it's enough for maybe 2 decks...

Right now I designed a deck for Rozpierdalator against :aether

Code: [Select]
5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rj 5rj 5rl 5rl 5ro 5rs 5rs 5rs 5rs
He needs Pharaohs because dragons can be killed with a single lightning... or worse... PUd. A pharaoh counters both of these quite well.
With this deck he should be able to deflag lobotomizers and phase shields... it's a bit slow in offense, but so are phase dragons (I'm quite sure they're going to use these because they are immune to rewind) and if they try a deck without permanents (eg. fractal something) deflagging their pillars will help a lot too, while procrastination works against both immortals and most fractal decks.

bojengles77, I think you should replace procrastinations and eternities with other cards. I'm sure :fire will take a lot of deflags against us, so it's wasted cards and quanta for you, nothing more. I guess lightnings, rewinds or additional pillars should work.

Right now I'm thinking of something along these lines:
Code: [Select]
5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rq 5rq 5rq 5rq 5rq 5rq 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61q 61q 61q 622 622 622 622Although it's sometimes short on aether. We have 13 aether pillars, so we could replace some lightnings with these, but then we won't be able to make any other half aether decks.

Kuroaitou, for now I approve your deck because I have no ideas how to improve it and I don't have time to test it.

Against Gl1tch... they lost their fractals and a lot of dragons, so maybe he will try adrenalined frogs? I don't know what to think about that 'spoiler in chat' thing... I wouldn't say such things publicly :P
Anyway, I guess I'll try something like this:
Code: [Select]
5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rm 5rm 5rm 5ro 5ro 5ro 5ul 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 7n2 7n2 7n2 7q0 7q0 7q0

For Flying Farenheit and Belthazar666 I chose the decks we should be able to make with the cards left. They should work, depending on the decks they are fighting against. Flying Farenheit gets a deck with anubises and quite a bit of control and offense, Belt gets the discord deck. The sad thing is that water still has poison (Kael Hate used these and won), so we might face a poison deck, but if it's not a one discord deck stands a good chance, while we might be unable to design 3 anti-poison decks.

yeah you're probably right, Xinef that's a good idea to get some early CC in there with ligning, or to get a high hp creatures down a little so i can nom down on it. I'll play that deck, we just need to double check that the vault allows for us to build all these.

Luckily, fire rarely has >5 hp creatures... as for decks I'm trying to design decks that do not collide, but of course I'll check everything in the vault spreadsheet.

Thats why i went with my scarab fractal deck with grav mark. I think this should be a good counter deck

Ok, we have enough cards to make all these decks. I found two problems though:

- I don't know if Flying Farenheit has a Red Nymph. I took it into the vault because Kuroaitou and Belthazar666 have these, but judging by FF's signature he does not... oh well, that deck does work without one, he could take a RoF instead.

- Rozpierdalator might be short on Pharaohs, so he will have to replace a few with dragons unless he manages to get some by tomorrow.
