Ok guys, we need to start designing decks and do it quickly, so that we have enough time to test the decks, tweak them, and solve any other problems that arise.

@valuka
I updated the first post with players' names. I guess it's best to keep them in the same order they are listed in Member Roles.
You can use this as a template:
Code: [Select]
[b][size=36pt]Round 2 - Decks[/size][/b]

[size=14pt][b]Xinef[/b][/size]

Some deck ideas we could use.

Against aether:
Code: [Select]
55q 55q 55q 55q 55q 55q 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rj 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rt 5rt 5rt 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2
Code: [Select]
52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52r 52r 52r 52r 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2
RoFs in case of fractal deck
Code: [Select]
5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f7 5f8 5f8 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rj 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2
I also tried this crazy idea of mine (needs only 4 Fahrenheits taken from bonus)... but it's too unreliable... would be much stronger if used by a Lieutenant or General due to possibility to take upped Flying Weapon and thus no need for immolations and deja vu, which can be replaced with dragons.
Code: [Select]
5f6 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f7 5f7 5f7 5f9 5f9 5f9 5f9 5oi 5oi 5oi 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rj 5rj 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2

Against fire:
I guess EQ deals well with bolts, Fahrenheits and Dragons (+rewind), while graboids have some ways to survive CC. This deck seems capable of outrushing fire. What d'ya think?
Code: [Select]
593 593 593 593 593 593 5rg 5rg 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rm 5rm 5rm 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g 77g

Hello
Well, I´ll confront Asymetri (or something like that)  :light

I write down every card the  :light team played and it was something like that:

Code: [Select]
58s 593 594 5f4 5f5 5f6 5f7 5f8 5f9 5fb 5fc 5i8 5i9 5l9 5la 5lc 5lf 5lg 5lh 5li 5oi 5oo 5rk 5ro 5rp 5rs 5rt
They use a lot of miracles in almost decks, and almost don´t have creature control. They almost don´t use creatures too.
I thought about two decks:

Code: [Select]
55q 55q 55q 560 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5ro 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rs 5rt 5rt 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2
The intention is to put down every creature play chimera to do big damage. Eternity for not deck out because of miracles, and dune scorpion to make poison damage. I did not like much this deck.

Code: [Select]
593 593 593 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5ro 5ro 5rs
I´m worry about doing big damage. So 6 Dragons. Eternity to not deck out because of miracles. Shield to late any eventual creature or maybe change the shield and pharaoh to one more eternity and a time pillar but the actual formation have more diversity. Earthquake to destroy the light pillar to not use miracles.

I like your decks, some ideas for those:

Xinef's first deck seem good for me. Our shield is the best against Aether i think.
The second is good too against decks with creatures (Aither, Air, maybe Dark too)
The third is i think very special, but if the oppenent use a fractal deck would good ( i think -1 fahrenheit + 1 ROF)
The fahrenheit deck seems very vulnerable for me against CC-s ...
Against Earth seems good for me too.

Edunovas deck:
For me seems the 2. better with ( -2 dragon + 1 Enchant artifact for + 1 Pharao )

My deck ideas against Air:

Code: [Select]
5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rm 5rm 5ro 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 61u 621 621
Or

Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vn 4vn 592 595 5f6 5f6 5i7 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rm 5rm 5rr 5rs 5t2

Okay, so we're down to about 40 hours.  I will be available off and on for the next few hours.  Tomorrow I can be on most any time.  I'll be doing a few other things (like going out to vote), but if you want to PM a time to meet in chat, I'll try to check the forums often to respond.  I've got a bit of catching up to do on reading, but hopefully we can get this nailed down in the next day and a half.

Aether decks:
I like the idea of Momentum+Dragons.  If we could afford it, adding a few Chargers to the vault and deck would help in the assault and give more targets for their Lightnings.

Here's a UG deck I'd like to test sometime against Aether.  Main weaknesses are PC and Stone Skins.
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5pu 5rl 5rl 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2
Here's another variation on Poison.  Plagues can be replaced with Bone Walls possibly.  You would probably need to tweak the Pillar/Pendulum ratio though.
Code: [Select]
52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52p 52p 52p 52q 52q 52q 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rl 5rl 5rl 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rr 5rr 5rr 5t2 5t2

Here's a deck that might could work against Earth or Light or possibly one of the other elements:
Code: [Select]
590 590 590 590 590 590 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2It's straight Aggro with QI of 4.5 for both element.

Hope to see some of you guys tonight or tomorrow.

I don't like this UG deck, people use PC against Time too often. I prefer UG decks with mixed damage eg. some creatures/weapons/bolts, so that you can adjust and win even against PC or increased max HP.

As for the second deck, I wonder which element would you use it against. I designed my poison deck to be used against Aether (arsenic is less important, bonewalls help greatly in stalling against few expensive immortal creatures) I'm just not sure what to do with Time quanta. Rewinds could help if they go for mortal creatures, eg. fractal deck. Precogs might also help... creatures would only help if they don't go for phase shields...

I'd love to test the third deck though. If it is fast enough, it could work against Light. It should easily deal >50 damage soon enough to counter miracle decks, but I guess we should test it.

Don't have much time atm, I'll be on tomorrow. I do think we should use a deck out deck against one of aether, though.  Protect artifact+Phase shields. Have to be careful, because if they go for fractal devourer against that deck, they'll probably win.  It's pretty much just picking what opponent to use it on. If we don't use it against Aether, I want someone to use it. It will be a complete surprise and catch people off guard.  Then, next round, people will have to plan how to beat that deck and it'll mess with their heads on if we'll use it or not.

Okay, UG deck out then.  We'll see if we can get something else then.  As for the Poison deck, my original thought was either 0 Arsenics or 3 Arsenics.  0 Arsenics because they wouldn't help once the Phase Shields started chaining; 3 Arsenics to force them to start chaining early causing there to be some opening later.  But now that I think about it some more, I don't have any creatures to take advantage of that opening.   :-[  So yeah, I think we should remove the Arsenics then and figure out more ways to stall like Plague+BW or even Plague+Procrastination.  But honestly, I'm not sure even that is enough to stall long for Poison to kill.

@Belt
I like the idea of the PA+Phase Shield deck.  We should definitely use that against someone.  Maybe even Earth since we could use 1 PA to protect our Pillars if necessary.

Hi

According to the cards team :light has I think they will use fire or earthquake to lack me with quanta.

I´ve tested 2 decks and here they are:

Code: [Select]
590 590 590 590 590 590 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2
Dragoon suggested this deck to do great damage, but this deck is not as fast as i thought and have a lot of limitations. First if they use fire a fire shield can kill my creatures and he would probably miracle to revive. With fire bolts or rain of fire they can kill my creatures and without a pharaoh it´s gonna be complicated to kill. If he uses deflag i can´t protect myself. If he uses a time/light deck he can use dune scorpions and without eternity i can´t rewind. They will probably won´t use creatures afraid of rewinds, so he will try to PC me.

Code: [Select]
592 592 593 593 593 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rj 5rm 5rm 5rm 5rm 5ro 5ro 5rs
This deck is much more versatile, is fast and can beat most of their decks ideas. The EA is to protect from deflags or earthquake. Eternity to rewind mine creatures to not deck out or if he uses fire shield or to control his dune or phoenix. Earthquake to destroy his light pillars to not miracle.

I insist that according to their cards, they will try to control my permanents and make me deck out.

I think if I play this deck i hvae 90% chance to win. Maybe I lose if he uses a morning star with flying weapon only if his deck is very fast.

I´ll make more tests on the second deck to determine if the shield is a good deal.

Arsenics are important for one reason - they force the aether player to play those shields, thus spending valuable quanta. Without arsenics, with poisons as the only damage source, the aether player would probably play only offensive creatures, while discarding shields.

I guess a mix of plagues and BW would be best, because a single plague + a few sundials should be enough to stop a fractal deck, while plagues are useless against immortals.
6 sundials + 4 bone walls = ~10 turns of stall, add the first few turns and the fact you have some HP to spare, and you should be able to stall for 15 turns, possibly enough for poison to kill. Of course some tweaking might be necessary to improve chances. Any ideas how we could lengthen the stall or increase direct damage?
