I'm a bit confused by the player numbering. Does General count is #0, since you listed General and then 1-5 numbers, but in the roster thread the general is listed as #1 and members 2-6:

As far as I know, we can choose who fights what element. Except 10 men, he is against a fixed element (in this case water).

Ah thanks for clarification. This just shows I'm a total noob in the War event...

EDIT: to add something constructive to the thread:

I started thinking about what the enemy might bring for these matches. One basic thought I have is that they all know Time has cheap CC (reverse time) as well as repeated CC (eternity + scarabs), so they might try to work around that. e.g.

Air - instead of bringing an obvious FFQ deck which can be decimated by pharao -> scarabs or queen-RT, they might try to rely on unstable gas as main damage source. Since we do not have reflective shields in the vault, the only defense against that would be some PC: deflags or steals.

Gravity - with similar reasoning I would expect them to rely on catapulting armagios, flying titans and dragons. Again PC can help to take out the catapults.

Death & Water - I would rely heavily on poisoning in their place against Time, so here we should pack a set of purifies.
-- alternatively, death might pack mummies and skeletons to fool our RT.

First round, interesting event.
I'll have a lot more time to go over our possible deck tomorrow, but I think I'll distribute our opponents right away, to make it easier for everyone to prepare:
Anthraxx = Time 1 (vs Gravity Gen.)
PlayerOa = Time 2 (vs Life)
Zso_Zso = Time 3 (vs Death)
Scaramanga = Time 4 (vs Air)
bripod = Time 5 (vs Aether)
It doesn't matter all that much against whom everyone goes up individually, so I just distributed them more or less randomly. If you for some reason you don't like your matchup speak up, they're not set in stone.

Okay, so about decks: Something everyone can do already is a little research: What decks did your opponent team play last War, particularly against Time? What did Time play against them, how succesful was that? Can we expect similar strategies from them now, are many people from last war still on that team? Will they expect similar strategies from us? There's a good chance they will as I'm still general of Time, though if we mostly did poorly against them they'll probably expect some different deck.

You can also look at their decks, and at our decks and test a few matchups if you want (trainer is good for that), to get a feel for what the enemy is capable of.

Like Time 1 is Lt... so now Anthraxx would get Lt upgrades or is the Player role set as to what was turned in at the end of auction?

I'm having a week off now, so please forgive me for lower activity. I'll try to find some time to post my investigation results on Sunday the latest.

From the top of my head: the hardest match-up for us would be some kind of a cata titan or DBH.

I ran through all of the decks listed by 10men in the vault building thread to test them against the above using Xeno's simulator for 100 games,
got good results with 3 of our decks: Mono time 87% win, Earth-Time 73% win, Ghostal 81% win, the other decks gave significantly weaker results.

So it looks like that Ghostal and Mono-time have decent chances against the first 3 decks they used previous war, but the last deck beats all of our decks, the best we can get is a 1/3 winning chance, that is scary...

Last War we (team Death) liked to use our darkness dominon deck against time. As ralouf liked that deck I don't see why they shouldn't bring it against us. Pandebonium may also be a good choice from Death.

We could use exploding times against Aether, even though it might be easy to predict. Dunno actually.

Did some research from Life Archive last war, and if I didn't miss something they only met time once. In that match they used adrenavamps and won against time's wings. Not sure what would be smart to bring here. Disco Time?
