LOLOTKZ0RZ :D :D :D :D :D :D

Yep, I OTK'd him. Didn't do anything for about 10 turns or so, didn't play anything other than pillars and a Phase Shield. Next turn, Dive + SoR + SoR + SoR + SoR + TU = WIN.

Please everyone keep in mind that powerful =!= overpowered.
I disagree with this, and I'm actually going to write a post about it.

When balancing cards, you should look at other cards. If one card has a higher relative power, even a little, that card is overpowered because the ultimate goal in a game like this should be that all the cards are equally "good".

I look forward to debating you on that post.  Powerful cards will always exist because of Damselfly.  Period.  There has never been and will never be a game in which all options are equally powerful except Rock-Paper-Sicissors, and those games are BORING.

But more importantly, I just finished 20 games with the SoR/Wyrm/PU combo as given in Belth's deck above, and guess what the win rate was?

40%.

I got outdamaged hard when the combo didn't come together (which was about half the time), couldn't get past Incarnate and Morte's bonewalls, and got quanta-denialed by DreamCatcher, Dark Matter and Decay into oblivion.

It's just not as great as it sounds, y'all.

I'm just trying to point out that there are lots of cards and combos out there that DO dominate false gods...so how can anyone say that this card which does so very averagely in this "OP" combo is overpowered?

Its "big strengths" are Anubis, Flying Eternity, and Dive...and none of them are so stellar as to be PvE crushing or PvP dominating, at all.  So what's all the hype?

More big strengths: Flying Poseidon, Nymphs, Almost any card with an ability.

Anubis + SoR, pretty sweet combo for time decks. You don't have to rely on :aether any more. Not to mention that it's an instant immortalize :)
Or an instant otyugh bite. Sweet :>

Flying Poseidon has the same problems that Flying Eternity does -- its a four-card combo, and no one cares because their rush deck just ate your face while you were waiting for the fourth card.

Nymphs have such high casting costs that they suffer a similar problem.  Aether Nymph is the same as Anubis, essentially, and all of the others will get killed before SoR can really take advantage.   I've playtested Nymphomania with SoR, and it's nice, but still nothing jawdropping.

Ok, i did more playtest, this time with nymph tear

This is clearly overpowered =(
My hp never drop pass 90... the whole game

Yes, it might be a level 3, but endless quanta draining + no towers is clearly not very funny....
Could do more extensive test, but i am most sure this will get nerfed or tuned down a bit
Good job, you beat an opponent that unupgraded decks can beat easily. Clearly overpowered.

Definitely OP just beat Chaos Lord with belth's deck
I beat Rainbow 2/2 times with Scaredgirl's almost unupgraded deck. RAINBOW. By that logic that deck is clearly OP, right?

That's a weird logic. So you need weak cards that nobody uses to make the game more interesting for you?

What's wrong with having a bunch of equally powerful cards so that you can use any of them and not just the most powerful ones?

Knowingly making some cards more powerful is bad game design. Period.

after playing with this for a short time I dont think it is OP and I have to agree with esscence. If we nerf every card that you an build a deck around which stands half a chance against FGs, Fgs will wind up invincible. I think this card is just fine. I only managed to get a SoR/TU/wrym combo three times in 40 minutes on FGs
