...wow, no one talks about this card anymore, do they?

I wonder if YoYoBro still plays - if he does, I think that we may need to post a functional image of Precognition, which is something I can do (but only assuming it's okay to do so). Oh well. Even though this card isn't going to be used in every deck, being able to see what you're going to deal with (a hidden explosion, a huge monster, etc.) can help you plan ahead to counter an enemy's hand before they get to play it.

this card really isn't that good, the nymph actually makes it acceptable

from things I have learned from playing various tcgs I have learned that drawing 1 card isn't very good because if you didn't have that card it your deck would you not have drawn the card you drew from the effect instead of drawing the card at the beggining of that turn? So it makes the card a waste of resources to play

and from playing this game I know that its first effect isn't that good because you can't counter spells, they get to activate the effect before you can do anything to stop it, however it does tell you if they have a firestorm or deflag or steal and that might be the only reedeming factor

SOme of this may be confusing if so then I have done my Job, (not really)

The aspect of drawing 1 card is good only if you go for a '24 card deck', or an '18 card deck' if you add sundials and a source of :light.

The aspect of seeing your opponents hand might be less useful than in MtG or other CCGs, but it's still very helpful in a number of situations. It really depends on your deck.
Eg. if you go for :time :earth you might add a precognition so when you are playing against a duo deck it really helps choosing which pillars to quake, and it also helps to choose when to evolve graboids, whether to burrow shriekers etc.

If you go for quantum denial + time, it helps with choosing what to rewind.

It sometimes help to choose which permanent to destroy or which creature to kill. For example it's not worth deflagging an eclipse if you see your opponent has another in his hand. Similar with flood. It might not be worth to kill a rustler if you see your opponent has another one etc.
May the force of the D4HK side be with U ^_^

This card is amazing.  It thins your deck.  Thining your deck is always a good thing.  The fact that it lets you see your opponents hand is a bonus.  But even without that this is a card any deck that can produce time quantum should have.
