I DO agree this card could/could not be useful in some situations, but marvin is just criticizing this card with totally absurd statements...

He said, against AI you will probably know what cards your opponent holds in his hand O_O

I just say my win ratio against certain gods would have improved by 20% if I had known incarnate had a steal, graviton and hermes had an explosion, seism a rewind, rainbow a ****ton of control cards, or chaos lord a mutation, or gemini 41 TU in THAT moment. Do I have to continue?

Sigh

Those are all in the Wiki you know. Their decks I mean. A few dedicated players fought all the gods a lot and/or looked into the cade and brought up their decks for all to see. Just in case you didn't realize that.

Sigh, by now I know almost every deck used when I see what creatures/permanents he uses. But knowing WHAT DECK ONE IS USING is TOTALLY different from knowing which cards his HAND contains.

There is ONE use for this card that no one has brought up yet. Sub 30 card decks. With 6 of these, 6 sundials, and a few hourglasses, you can burn through a 30 card deck ridiculously fast (better have a protect artifact and eternity though). I don't know if this could work fast enough due to quanta problems though; better have some mean cards in your deck to play.

Another good idea for a nice card, which is being understimated by some people (IMHO). If you think about it, it's the only guaranteed card drawing mechanism (sundial and hourglass can be destroyed before use).

That's only true if you have some sort of card that just wins when you play it. I would LOVE a combo deck in Elements, and combo decks are notorious for the ability to "go off". A bunch of cantrips and card drawers are a staple for this kind of deck, so it appears we have pieces coming together for one. :)

This card alone is useful, but not that powerful. However, with Golden Nymph, you can see your opponent's hand for the entire game, which is an absolutely HUGE advantage.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

The real advantage of this card is that it is basically a random card in your deck, but it has the added benefit of seeing the opponents hand. Playing with 6 of these in a 30 card deck is almost like playing with a 24 card deck. Splashing time with 6 of these in a mono deck will probably improve overall speed, as well as allowing you to play more aggressively or defensively depending on what your opponent currently holds.

I would be interested in seeing which is better, a mono-deck with 30 cards, or a mono-deck that splashes these, with 30ish cards. The latter could definitely take two or three extra cards and not need to worry about increased randomness in their deck.

And have the possibility to check the opponent's hand when they need it the most.

Temporal Uber-Rush

Mark of Time
12 Time Factory (elite)  (I like parenthetical references.)
6 Precognition (elite)   (Possibly called "Prescience"?  That'd be cool.)
6 Silurian Dragon  (BTW, did you know that "Devonian" and "Siluran" are evolutionary eras from millions of years ago?)
6 Elite Deja Vu (And that the French have a concept called 'Ne deja vu pas', meaning 'the feeling of something being eerily unfamiliar despite being a normal part of your life'?)

Simple, straightforward, and you'll know early on if you should just quit and move on to the next game. :)

If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

That's a nice deck concept... time is going to be the fastest deck amongst fast decks :)
