Sorry, that was a reply to something on Page 1.  :)

Also, for Dragonfly, the use is pretty clear: upgrade to Damselfly, combine with Epinephrine, and power massive FFQ/Eagle's Eye decks. :)

This will be a wonderful new element to PvP, not so much against the AI. it's a one time draw, and it can help see what the AI has so you can know what's somewhat safe to play. But I don't see this card being a huge use in most decks.

i think this card is pretty useless.

having a look at your opponents card doesnt really helps you in most of your situations. first if you are experienced enough you will probably know what cards your opponent will hold in his hands (especially if battling against AI). second comes that after some turns your opponent often will only hold one or two cards if any cards at all, so this effect goes to be totally useless the more the game proceeds.

so what is left - you can draw a card. so if i have this card in my hand, in can spent 2 quanta to draw a new card. this is even more worse. i i have left this card out totally from my deck, i would have 2 quanta spent (or lets say wasted) less.

if i compare this card to the other new alchemy cads this one really looks bad!

Go read my answer to your post in the Golden Nymph thread and try not to post stupid and destructive comments anymore. You're not helping anyone in the community with these rushed and barely comprehensible posts.

YoYo, be nice. I could comprehend it. Anyway, I see where he's coming from too. If your opponent is usinga mono deck, you could probably already know what he'll have in his deck unless you haven't been in the game a while. And if they're playing rainbow, then it's slightly more useful, but still not worth the space.
Against an AI you haven't encountered before, though, is a defferent story of course, but those can be researched to find out what they'll have. (unless its AI5, in which case your on your own.)

The card draw is the only thing keeping this from being from totally useless is the card draw, which, like Sundial, is one card for another card, basically meaning that if it wasn't there it would have made no difference.

Come on sigh. Even against a mono deck, it makes a difference knowing if he's got a creature/permanent control in his hand or not. Sure, golden hourglass is way better, but against a guy like seism (example) knowing if he's going to use 6 rewinds on your creatures or not CAN change the outcome of a game.

Sigh

Maybe I'm just biased, having these inds of abilities in Yu-Gi-Oh! REALLY got on my nerves, and having the knowledge may or may not help. The only real use I see with this card is when you're setting yourself up in the beginning of the game and are hoping to your flavor of God that your opponent doesn't have any cards that can hurt you.

Even so, there's always the chance that you're not going to be able to do anything about it. The game is just too luck based right now to allow you to always have a counter when using this card. Plus, as I think Essence said further up, drawing cards on your turn makes a lot of difference as well, especially against Gods and guys with Hourglasses.
