Skeptical? You should be. I was too before I got a special spin in Silver on my first try. Mind you, the last win was narrow and took 16 turns, but for a fun deck it's surprisingly viable. Other Egg rushes may lack the HG+Etern combo, which is vital to this deck's winrate.
12 quanta works only because they're upped, really. Rewinds can be switched around, but I find them handy for slowing down a rush or getting the drawlock back if the AI manages to play 2 creatures in a turn. Turtle Shields are pretty bad since you're aiming for draw lock, but can certainly save your butt if you're getting overrun by a lot of cheap critters. Pharaohs are the best optional choice in my opinion because they offer the most reliable offence, quanta-sink and CC if you find it's worth to spend a SoR on a Scarab.
Enjoy special spins if you get Seraphs and Rubies. Enjoy sporadic wins if you don't

Edit: after playing a bit more, your worst enemy is PC. As such, another viable option for the 2 Rewinds is another HG and Etern.
