You might not be able to get enough Scarabs out.
Also, Scarabs are very weak to CC unless there's a ton of them on the field.
Maybe add a few more creatures?

There are six scarabs in that deck. If you manage to play them all six, you have six 2|6 creatures. That gives incredibly low damage (12 total, reduced to six or zero with a shield). You should at least add lots of pharao to this deck because I simply don't see this working: your creature control is out way too late, and you will most probably die of deck-out (or simply outdamaged) anyway due to the low damaging potential.

His creature control is fine (he has reverse times) but it needs Pharaoh or eternity.

Well, sooner or later he'll run out of reverses and then he's left over to his scarabs. To be superion to simply an otyugh, he needs at least four scarabs in the field, which doesn't always happen.

This deck isn't going to win unless the opponent is completely shut down due to the lack of damaging potential. And every enemy will get at least one attack through, while this deck doesn't have a way of healing itself.

Bassically, just what you said: it needs pharao and eternity.
