Deck Helper comment:
This thread became completely disorganized during the forum move.  To view the actual deck posted by Uncle Jellyfish, please view this link:  http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=547.msg5302#msg5302

Why take 6 Fate Eggs? There is a very small chance that you will get a creature whose ability you can actually use. I would get rid of them and 4 other cards, maybe 2 rewinds and 2 Towers. This way you would have 30 cards which is much faster.

And I wouldn't call that "well-rounded" because you have very little creature control and no healing or permanent removal. If anything, I would call that one-dimensional, like most mono-decks are. Fire and Darkness are better choices if you want a more well-rounded mono-deck.

Lol, well, of course Fire and Darkness are going to be better. I just made this for fun.

The reason for it being 40 cards is that with the Hourglasses, it still draws quick enough to compete with most 30 card decks. As for the Fate Eggs, sure, you can take them out, and then take out a couple pillars, with no problem. I just really like Fate Eggs, and the extra damage (and priority targets) that they provide does help with my opponent wasting kill spells before I get my dragons. XD

I understand that it's one demensional, but it's a mono-Time deck. I could build the standard one, but that's boring, and I wanted a deck that fit the theme of the element more.

Lol, did you read the title of this thread? :)

Lol, no need to get angry. :)

You said in the title that this deck is "well-rounded" when in fact it's the opposite of that (like all mono-decks). In a situation like that I have no other choice but to correct you, and I really don't care how many enemies I make by doing that. :)

Lol, it was false anger. Supposed to be taken sarcastically. >.<"

As for the well rounded part, have you actually tried the deck? I actually managed to take on the top 50 in the Trainer with it, and it did surprisingly well.
Maybe we understand the word "well-rounded" differently.

Internet says that well-rounded is: "Comprehensively developed and well-balanced in a range or variety of aspects".

In Elements this would mean a deck that is versatile and can deal with different kinds of situations,  Like for example the commonly used False God grinding rainbow. The fact that it can beat all the 11 Gods itself suggests that it's very well-rounded.

This Time deck however, lacks some aspects of this game, like healing and permanent removal. That makes it more one-dimensional which is the opposite of well-rounded.

I'm not saying this deck doesn't work, I'm just saying it's not well-rounded. I've played a similar deck although I didn't have Fate Eggs, which I have to say is a bit strange choice because you most likely will not be able to use the ability your Fate Egg spawn has. Imo Fate Egg is not that great but if I had to take it, I would definitely go for rainbow, not mono Time.

I would bet that this deck worked better if you just dropped those 6 Fate Eggs, and maybe took one Dejavu to use with Eternity and to avoid decking out.

Thought I'd post something to fill this empty space.

It works just fine unupgraded. No, you don't need the quantum to play the abilities of the Fate Eggs once they hatch, and no, you don't need to worry about them being RTed, lol. They are there as extra damage in hopes that they hatch into a dragon or something else with a decent attack. The Silurian Dragons are the main damage dealers.

If you don't have an Eternity, run a Long Sword or something.

I usually get down to ~5 cards by the end of each match.

Just an idea. Variations aplenty, but Mono-Time is definately one of the more underplayed decks that is actually quite good.

I'm confused as to how I was trolling.
Whoops. Upon review of my sentence I can see how you came to that conclusion. I was talking to scaredgirl.

Nice deck, and I'm glad someone is trying monodecks. You should have held your ground though. This is the most well rounded deck monotime can produce. Sure it's not well rounded compared to rainbow decks, but that's not what you were trying to say.

Lol, someone who sees it my way. XD

The reason I didn't defend it is because Scaredgirl has a tendancy to viciously point out flaws of everything, and feels a need to correct whichever mistakes are present, whether they are judgment based, belief based, politically based, etc. I'd rather avoid a confrontation by simply staying quiet. =/
You're a mod. You brind down the hammar!

That is an unnecessary abuse of power. Also, I can't ban. =/
