I know it could use some tweaking to optimize it, but i consider this deck as finished. It was a deck i build for Grid here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,37179.msg499871#msg499871), and yes it works. Even with 20 pillars.
2 turn Pharaoh is common, and afterwards focus on pumping Scarabs rather than summoning more Pharaoh. Only summon them if you have excess quanta to do it.

Eternity? Why Eternity? For control? I personally feel that you'd have enough control with scarabs, and perhaps short swords would fit in better for more faster damage and being cheaper.

I run this deck myself.  And more often then not, the RTs will help with what you can't Devour right away, especially with bulkier, more expensive creatures.

For weapon slot, actually. This is the unmodified version of what i used in Grid #2 R5. And the circumstances force me to, so yeah.

Well yes, but I personally would just put in some RT instead of eternity. Eternity is pretty expensive, being two thirds as much as a pharaoh, and costing 3 :time for a single RT.

But with that many Pillars, it would be hard to believe that you won't have the quanta.

I run this deck with shards of readiness in the arena and it works great!  I like the use of Procrastination here, stalling the enemy creatures until your scarabs get big enough.  I must try that too.
