Battle it out with other teams using only 3 elements and a sideboard

1. HOW TO SIGN UP?
Anyone with a forum and a chat account can sign up for this event. Start by reading the rules very carefully. Then sign up by posting on a separate sign up topic. If you cannot find a sign up topic, or if it is locked, this event is not currently active, and you will have to wait for it to restart.

Each team selects 3 elements. Each player has to pick a distinct pair of elements which they can use.

One member from the team will post in the sign up thread the Team Name, Players, and Elements of the team.

There is no maximum amount of teams in this event.

The teams will also send a PM to the host with their 25 card sideboard for each element. Details of how the sideboard is used in deckbuilding section.

When the sideboard is built, certain cards have a different "card cost".
3 card cost cards: Discord, Dimensional Shield, Shard of Patience
2 card cost cards: Fractal, Graboid, Bone Wall, Shard of Focus, Fire Bolt, Miracle, Shard of Freedom, Blue Nymph, Reverse Time, Sundial, Devourer, Vampire Stiletto

For example, if a sideboard has 3 discords, then the total sideboard size is decreased to 19 cards.

2. GETTING READY
The event format will be Double-elimination, Swiss style.

3. DECKBUILDING
Players may only use cards from their elements and battle element. Cards from your element are restricted by the team's sideboard. Battle elements are randomly determined before each matchup is posted and will always be different from players' elements.

Cards from the battle element are unrestricted for the match for both players.

If the sideboard has x of one card, only x of that card can be used per deck. Example: 3 frogs in sideboard = max 3 frogs per deck.


- Each deck may use x*2 upgraded cards, where 'x' is game number. (i.e. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 upgrades respectively)
- You may change decks between games
- You may use Pillars, Pendulums, Mark Cards, and Marks (quanta cards) that don't match your 3 Elements
- Mono decks of the battle element are not allowed (you must use at least 4 non-quanta cards for an element to count as "used")
- You may not use the same combination of elements more than twice in a match (This refers to your 3 Elements)


4. MATCHES
Matches are best-of-5.

It's a good idea to either record the matches, or take screenshots as proof, in case something weird, like a desync error, happens. Remember, a player who gets caught cheating, will be permanently banned from all Elements community PvP events, so please play fair.

SUBSTITUTIONS
You may sub for a teammate only if given approval by the event organizer, and you can't sub for the same player 2 rounds in a row.

5. AFTER DUELS
All players must submit their results and decks in the Round thread.

6. WINNER
The last team standing is declared the winner.

7. REWARDS

No, each player can use 6 copies of graboids in all their decks. It's not like a vault, more like a pool of available cards.

But only the players that have Earth as their element. In the example provided in the OP, sirPrex may not use Graboids. if yancoo has as battle element, he may use mono in two games, mono in two games, duos in two games, duos in two games, duos in two games and trios in two games. This means yancoo could potentially use 6 Graboids in all five games. This will not prevent TheonlyfakeBeef from using Graboids.

2. SoFo shouldn't be penalized (especially with how low this format's upgrades are atm)
