Against EQ Devs. Epic split made EQs weak. Soon, Devs on both sides ended up denying all Earth/Aether quanta respectively. But asdw simply did not have enough creatures to overpower my Vampires + Vampire Dagger.

Complete lockdown. Vampire Dagger pretty much did the rest. With Black Dragon and Auburn showing up later to clean up before Arsenic would become a serious threat. DC after lockdown.

asdw had a really good start, I had a 3x Aether Mark 2x Darkness Mark start, but could barely scrape out the quanta to play the Devs I drew. Large amount of Devs from asdw made it hard to play my cards and I did not draw my first Fractal for a long time. Was slowly losing the damage game and did not think I would be able to Fractal Vampires in time to save me, so I made a desperate move by playing Eclipse. My hp would go down that much faster, but I had more creatures. Turns out, it would only win me the game with 1 hp if asdw somehow drew no creatures for two turns, while I had to topdeck either a Vampire or Vampire Dagger in one of the two turns. Well, that's exactly what happened.

I wanted to bring this at least once. It is a fun deck, but not very competitive (just like I planned this event to be). The quote was my reaction to our team score becoming 1-1 before our duel.

Switching the first two decks would have worked better I think. Oh well... GGs!
