This rule was initially a bit confusing:
"- You must use at least 2 of your Battle Elements in each deck (To count as using an element, you must use at least 1 non-quanta card)"
Since it says "Battle Elements," it looks like you are saying that players must use 2 of the non-team, non-player elements (referenced earlier and called battle elements) in every deck, which would mean that you can't ever use your player/team elements except in trios. I understand now that this is not the case, but it's still very awkward wording. Changing it to "available elements" or similar would work fine as a fix. Alternatively, you could simply not call the non-player/non-team elements battle elements (random elements/whatever).
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

For simplicity I would just refer those as followed:

Elements that the players choosepersonal elements
Elements that the team choosesteam element
Elements that are randomized as 3rd each roundrandom element
All the elements above togetherbattle elements

In the beginning, the random element was the battle element, but after majofa's latest post, i chose the altogether elements as battle elements.
And we keep driving into the night

also quanta card is not ideal term because we have creatures that produce quanta,
they will be considered quanta card too?

well about the rules and I've oriented my team to consider in-pillar/pendulum/mark valid with at least 1 card of each in-elements and max 2/3 in the deck and minimum duo with 2 elements available. Closed?

I've actually called the battle element that we get each round the round element. Makes perfect sense.

@Majofa; Are we allowed to use more then 2/3 of our deck if there pillars/pends and NOT in our battle elements?
Example:
Team element is  :fire. Individual element is  :water random element is :life (Battle elements are:  :fire :water :life)

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5bs 5bs 5f0 5f0 5i4 5i4 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 61o 7ae 7ds 7gm 8pn

Can the cards not from those 3 elements be upgraded? Like if I upgraded the aether pillars?

Or did you intend that it be the other way around; 2/3 of your deck must be 'battle elements' (refer to what I said were battle elements above)? If so we need to make yet another rule.

Mind you, if anyone here is confused about whats going on, its because nymph tears can be played on pillars/pendalums outside your elements, and we had a rule already that the pillars aren't counted as in element, which is what makes then useable. Ex. You can use an entropy pillar but not a discord if your 3 elements to choose from (battle elements) aren't entropy. The only reason anyone would ever do this is if they had a creatures ability that cost a different element, or for nymph tears.
A world war? Am I invited?
Thanks to skotadi for saying this in chat. Made me laugh pretty hard, and fits with me not getting drafted. :silly:

I know the Shard discussion is done now, but for the next time around a possibly good way to implement them (if wanted) would be to allow shards only from your battle element (the one randomized). So players have no control over which shard they get to use, but there is also little imbalance since both players get to use them.

Of course, it might be better to exclude them completely from such a classic event. Just an idea that I felt like sharing.

all this rambling is annoying me too i feel it is perfectly simple as if we continue any further you will put people off and the event won't go any further.

rule 1. decks must be duo with 2 of you battle elements

rule 2. pillars and pends don't count as using that element. therefore to make a deck legal you must use one non-pillar/pend card from two of your three battle elements

rule 3. one element can be used up to 2/3 of your total deck size and that can only be one of your three battle elements

rule 4. like the WC you cannot use the same element combo more that twice in a match (for example if your elements are  :entropy :gravity :darkness you cannot use water/gravity/entropy twice and then fire/gravity/entropy as that would count as using gravity and entropy 3 times in the match)

rule 5. off element pillars and pends can be used but you deck must still contain 2 of your battle elements and at least one card from each battle elements must be non-pillar/pend

rule 6. From what makes sense 2/3 of your total deck size must be made up of the 2 battle elements you have chosen

I believe that clears everything up correct me if I'm wrong so can we stop gabbing on about it and get down to it it would be much appreciated. These six rules are the only logical solution to the way this event is set out how people cannot see that since the last rule clarification is beyond me.

Get down to what? Still 3 days to go before it's planned to start, and rules have to be reviewed. Unnecessary repeating is unnecessary, yes, and you just did that too, except you added some typos and ignored some grammar x)

rule 6. From what makes sense 2/3 of your total deck size must be made up of the 2 battle elements you have chosen

But if you are going to repeat the obvious, next time make sure you do it correctly. I don't care about grammar, typos and rephrasing, but at last make sure it's correct.

This should be:
rule 6. No more than 2/3rd of any deck can be made up of only 1 (battle) element.
