Broken Drums vs TriForce

Jen-i 3 - 0 Rutarete

Spoiler for Game #1 = WIN!:
Golden Rage!

I wanted to lead with something perhaps a little unexpected - from what I saw of his deck he was prepared to deal with a Light-Firestall deck quite nicely, but Golden Dragons and Rage Pots wrecked his day. When he got to 3 Entropy I dropped a Sanc - I figured it would probably get stolen, but I wanted at least a turn of protection if he played Discord. He dropped a Lycan instead and stole the Sanc, I Rage Potted the Lycan and dropped my first Golden Dragon the next turn. I got fairly lucky, he only played 3 lycan and 2 were rage potted (only 3 in the deck) and the third lycan came out too late to make a difference.

Spoiler for Game #2 = WIN!:
Immo Discord!

I figured I'd see Discord this match, may as well play my own in a counter-deck. He got a solid quanta draw, and I got no quanta for until 12 cards into the deck - however I won the coin toss and dropped Discord on turn 3 (and no discards due to playing Photons). Discord trolled him badly and slowed the deck enough that when I did draw into 2 Immolations I pretty much dropped my hand and rushed him to death. He eventually got an AdrenaVamp in play, but it was too late at that point.

Spoiler for Game #3 = WIN!:
Entropy Fire Stall

I figured I hadn't seen Discord from him yet and was up in the count - I could afford a little bit of a gamble here. Discord would have ruined by day. I got a solid quanta draw - he played a nymph and cloaked, I played panda and got poison. I kept holding off on killing his creatures trying to collect the 8 :entropy to Antimatter an adrenalined creature to guarantee me the win, instead I kept taking a turn of damage from them and having to kill them the next turn. Tough choices - go for the knock out blow or drag the game out and hope I can outlast him. I failed in the knock out blow, but managed to just outlast him in the end. I spent most of the game worried he was playing Steal, so even though I started with a Fahrenheit in my opening hand I didn't actually play it until I got close to 75 quanta. In the end 1 bolt and the Fahrenheit were all I needed to win by a turn.

Good Games Rutarete, thanks for the fun!

Went with my new Critter Rush. The first time discord ruined my great (well, ok) draw. Jen-i only had one quanta source, but that discord. The last game was just bad luck with Pandemonium. It was one of those "One more turn and I'll win" games.

Alan had a fail draw, took him a while to get a golem down, and by the time he did I got a lightning.

Used this beauty again, and it saved me once again, 2nd turn Stiletto, Nightmare when it was needed, a LS to kill a Phoenix.
I managed to outrush Alan despite 2 PUs on my colossals, a LS topdeck when I needed it saved me.

Ggs Alan.

Went with RT Dev. He's using death/time. Poison and mummy+GotP. I sense a rush. Hmm. Got 2 devs quickly, Ghost hit field and RT'd. Still stalling for quanta. Dragon hit field as his mummy too. At this point, i'm still outdamaged. If only a second Dragon comes... It didn't. Double RT a mummy to slow damage. Second dragon hit field as his Ghost hit. Outrushed by a turn. gg. 0-1

More precog for speed. He hit me hard again, just like last time. Ghost RT'd, 3 devs and a dragon on field vs 2 poisons and a mummy. Double RT mummy faster to stop damage. He drop another mummy and i drop another dragon. Close one again. Argh! 0-2

Enough screwing around! With matches that close, i'll have to be lucky for winning! And now he change deck. Fire/time. He keep amassing :fire, i'm afraid of bolts now. Two dolls hit field. Fahren hit field, quickly deflagged. Red hit field, ready for the assault. As expected, bolted, but quickly got replaced by another Red. And bolted again. Another doll hit field, but no rage. Sundial chained, Fahren hit field. Where's my chance? No chance. 0-3

My fault for pushing my luck in game 2. Sorry Drake and Ruta to let you down.

kev 3 - Absol 0

Spoiler for G1, 2:
G1: When I saw devs I realized I should've built more quanta in.  One interesting turn where I held off playing a gotp cuz he was holding two cards and I had to assume they were RTs.  Won by one turn.
G2: Same decks, same one turn victory.  He won the toss but I found more quanta this time.

bleh, my mirror match RNG sucks.

deuce22 1-3 majofa

Game 1 - LOSS
took a risk playing this deck first since it is hardcountered by a fatter deck, but I didn't want to play the nymphtal deck yet in case he didn't make one yet...majofa plays 52-card stall -_-

Game 3 - LOSS
figured he would basically make a mirror of my deck since it is pretty much the meta in this mirror match, so went all out with a pure nymphtal rush. Drew all quanta and 1 nymph which got lobo'd

Game 4 - LOSS
figured he would play the same deck again, so I modded my game 2 to have more quanta. Only drew 1 air pend for several turns while he had early lobo + nymph while my lobo hid...
