Calindu(Dominus) 3-0 Bloom(Canada)(Subbing plastiqe)

Game 1: WIN

Gnomes did a good job at keeping my precious quanta away from EQs, while 1 vamp stiletto and 1 Auburn Nymph kept his damage down until I managed to kill him with my swarm.

Early Lightnings on his graboids mostly sealed this, though his poison looked scary on my hp at the end I managed to get him stalled with 3 dims chained at the end while stone skinning to get myself away from his killing range with poison.

Early devourers and a EQ on his entropy pillars stack allowed me to keep his Pande away, Steal on Arsenic, Dragons coming and then a Nightfall to break the Bonewall faster gave me a pretty fast win too.

Ggs Bloom, those were mostly lucky deck choices.
You know, a long time ago being crazy meant something. Nowadays everybody's crazy.

I thought that could cover Immo Rush if he played it again and deal with a Fire Stall too, I drew the BB when I needed them and Oty saved me after, two Chargers and Pulvy slowly gnawed at his hp slowed down by his Wardens but it was enough.

The match was as tough as expected, it could have gone both ways, good games, Odii, sorry it's over for you.

dragonsdemesne - 3 (211, subbing for taker) vs bripod - 0 (relics)

-Sorry for the delay in posting.  As soon as our matches were done, I left to go to a Christmas party, but here are the games/decks-

Apparently the secret to me winning in tpvp is to spend 2 minutes building decks instead of 2 days, because I put tons of prep into my matches for rounds 1 and 2, building like 8 decks each time, and losing 2-3.  Speedbuilding and I go 3-0... go figure.

Game 1: Gasboom
Spoiler for Hidden:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sr 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5gi 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5og 5ol 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5p0 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 8pr

I made a few rough notes a couple days ago about some of the possibilities with fire/earth/air, and one of those was an unstable gas duo, so here it is.  I wasn't sure how it would play out, since I knew bripod had steals and discord, and when I saw the darkness mark, I figured he was probably playing some sort of lycanthrope/discord/nightmare rush thing.  I never saw a nightmare, but I did see lycans, devourers, and discord, as well as a gargoyle or two.  Bripod won the toss but only played two entropy pendulums, so I knew if he was using discord, it would take until turn 4 to play it if he had one.  (he did)  That, and the fact that I started with six pillars/pends, meant that what was probably a fairly poor deck matchup turned out to be a fairly easy win for me.  If we'd played ten games with the same decks as here, I bet bripod would've won at least seven, so I considered this quite fortunate.

Game 2: Firestonestall
Spoiler for Hidden:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sm 58o 58o 58o 58o 594 594 594 594 594 594 5aa 5aa 5aa 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f7 5f7 5f7 5fk 5fk 5fk 5gi 5gi 8pm

Odii wanted me to use a firestall with stoneskin next, and given that bripod chose what he told me later was an unstable gas deck, Odii's intuition was certainly correct.  It would have been almost impossible for me to lose this matchup.  Other than some damage from my own fahrenheit being stolen, bripod couldn't do anything.  Earlier on I wasn't sure what he was playing, so I was a little nervous that it would be dragons with sky blitz, so I played my first two stoneskins earlier than I normally would have, on the turns where with a perfect hand he could've OTKed me, but eventually I realized he didn't have any creatures, or at least none that he wanted to play, given that I had a red nymph out.

Game 3: Immorush
Spoiler for Hidden:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]

I wanted to try an immorush next, because I was predicting bripod would try discord this game, and he did.  I deliberately left out all pillars/pends so that the mulligan would virtually guarantee an immolation in my starting hand.  Turn 1 I lose the toss and discard a warden, but after I get the first earth quanta, I immo a warden or gnome and play a golem and a gnome, and from there it just snowballs.  Wardens keep his abominations at bay, and discord does basically nothing to me.  I didn't get a graboid until nearly the end, but I had a huge golem and drew 4 of my gnomes, so things were looking great for me.  I was hoping discord+immo would let me play one of the abominations he gave me with nightmare, but it was not to be :p  I'm not sure who had the better deck here; game 1 bripod had the advantage but got unlucky, and game 2 I had the advantage, but in game 3, I think it was fairly close, although I won by a fairly comfortable margin, though once I see his decks maybe it will be more obvious to me who had the better odds in this matchup.

GGs bripod, and good luck in the event.

Was expecting some sort of stall, Fractal dragons are one of the best stallbreakers, and he had no easy PC.  Deck was a simple choice.  Came down to like 4/5 cards left on my part, and I stole his tit shield for a perfect KO.  He had a miracle and SS in hand :F

Spoiler for Game 2 - Win - Dragtal vs. Pulvybow:

Figured that this could handle discake as well as another stall, so I played it again, but I fixed the quanta so that I could get more dragons out, faster.  Got a steal in opening hand, and trolled his pulvy, and then dimmed twice, which was long enough for me to build up 13 aether quanta, and like 50 darkness quanta.  TTK.

Spoiler for Game 3 - Win - Healstall vs. Entrostall:

I was expecting immortal again, mostly because I think it was the only thing that had a chance vs. my dragtal (or PA diss).  I knew his was 47 cards, so I made this to deck it out, cuz stoneskins would make it impossible to bolt all the way down.  Got in, and we both had stalls.  His was smaller :)

I think I may drained Darkness sufficiently and used an improv LA to soften the last turn blows.

Brought this deck back against what seemed to be Diss stall with LA.  Good thing I had Scarabs to overpower it.
