Taker started the game with an early Hematite and I was forced to chose between wasting 2 Lightnings, or take a slight beating while doing nothing. I chose the boring version, which proved to be a good move. After my first twin Dragons, 2 Lava Golems popped up, which got bolted instantly.
After some beating, taker rained a lot of fire, killing my two dragons. But as my tutor Bunny always instructed me in its infinite wisdom, I kept another pair in hand, which soon finished the job.

He started with a lot of pillars and a frog soon after. Had I chosen Devtal, it would've been my doom. But RNG was on my side today.
I left the frogs do what they want, but whenever they started attacking 4 times a round, they got a heart attack. They just can't handle the adrenaline.
My twin Dragons came quite early and since they weren't bothered, they multiplied and gave me the 2nd victory.

Good games taker, I hope we can finish this before the deadline.

Close one here, got a lot of early damage+Arsenic early so he was forced to use dims early. Fractalled my dragons when the chain broke first time and even when he killed some, I just got more on the field.
In the end he failed to topdeck a Dim Shield so I won.

I started with 1 Water & 2 Fire Pillars - drew all 5 tears and the queen in the first 11 cards and got rolled before I could get any adequate control in play.

Game #2     LOSS

I started with a lone light pend - he dropped a 3rd turn discord and I died - boo. In testing it seemed to work out fairly consistent with me dropping a turn 2 sanc - I even won the coin toss. I guess I need to do more testing!

Game #3     WIN
Immo Rush vs Diss Shield Stall

A 1 pillar draw again - at least this time the deck is designed for it!
When he hit 7 quanta in both entropy and water I figured I was seeing a Diss Shield stall - so I held off on playing my phoenix until I generated the quanta on my own - wanted to save the immo's to cure Antimatter if needed. He slowly died I slowly played creatures that he slowly killed. Eventually he dropped a shield which I promptly deflagged and won 2 turns later.

Game #4     LOSS

I drew 1 fire pillar and no water pillars - managed reasonable board control despite that, but never enough to get ahead. He played discord again - but left me with enough to immediately deflag it.

Good Games AnnaMall, thanks for the fun and: may the RNG shine on you, may your deck choices be inspired and the desynch monster live in terror of you. At least until we meet again.

Dragoon 3 - 1 Jenkar

First off, major props to Jenkar for being super patient. I'm out of town right now and the internet at this hotel sucks big time. Took us like an hour to get through our games because of all the desyncs. Thanks Jenks for being so amiable about it all.

Game 1

Wings were able to keep his Graboids away. I must admit though that Flying Discords was smart. It never entered my mind.

He waited 1 turn too long to Stone Skin. I hit him with 4 Bolts and 2 OEs for the kill.

I knew that this deck was too slow against his Graboid deck but I wanted to play something different since I had played 2 creature-less decks already. Lost by a large margin.

Pulled out my Dim Shields to stop his Discords. He was shuffling my quanta around for a while, but I finally got my 6 Aether quanta and had smooth sailings from there.

Round extended for a day to include one day of the weekend. There will not be another extension this round. Substitution rule added to the rules:

SUBSTITUTIONS
You may sub for a teammate only if given approval by the event organizer, and you can't sub for the same player 2 rounds in a row.

Drained all the death quanta, but kev was generating so much fire even after a pestal that I couldn't stop him from pulling off a game-ending RoF.

Loss, the second red nymph really did me in, as did my fear of RoFs.

Psiontal was too slow for what seemed to be as fast as a monodeath rush.

Great games kev, I apologize for being so slow at deck-choosing.
