dragonsdemesne (211) - 2 vs raving rabbid (bunny's fir) - 3
game 1: loss
Going in, we figured firestall had a pretty good shot against anything they could do. Unfortunately, turn 2 discord kept me under 4 light quanta the entire time, and 4 consecutive silences locked me out at the end; the only card i played all game was a fahrenheit. I was rather disappointed with this first game; had I gotten a sanc out at any point before the silence chain, I'd have won for sure.
game 2: loss
I wasn't sure if he'd try that same deck again, but I loaded up on more light quanta to try and make sure I could get that sanc down. I didn't really do too much better; he had more dragons/pus than I had bolts.
game 3: win
At this point I'm getting pretty worried. I figure discord should work fairly well against either of the two decks he has used so far. I'm also worried about his discord and silences. He hasn't yet played phase dragons, and in planning I figured that phase dragon/light stall was his best deck against us. I'm a little surprised he hasn't done this yet, but I take a chance he won't use immortal creatures and play using nymphs. I don't get a discord all game, but I do get lots of sancs and a nymph, and he concedes; I'm assuming he had no CC or something. I don't know exactly what he was playing, but all I saw were abominations.
game 4: win
I don't usually play immorush, so I specifically built this one to be unpredictable. I didn't modify it at all from what we had in team chat. I had a decent start, the only bad thing being that I had 1 more immo than photons, but I managed alright in spite of that. The first seraph got lightninged, but the second one stuck. I got a turn 3 discord, but it didn't seem to do much, since he had a lot of quanta. Raving played a dim, which I deflagged, and he apparently didn't have another shield, which was good, since I didn't have another deflag :p
game 5: loss
I built this in team chat mostly as a joke, with a headline that said something like "they'll NEVER expect this!" Well, I had to use it, just to see. I would have won, but raving won the coin toss, so he had 10hp when he killed me. If I'd gone first, he'd have lost by 1 turn instead of me.
Great games raving, although interestingly you used none of the decks I thought you would, which is probably how you came out on top :p I particularly liked the deck you used in game 1. (and 3, if that was the same one)
