so does DSSCRA and timer's match still stand or do they rematch because if there match stands as is that means its a tie
2-2 between the teams also im the only one who actaully won hios match kitty was disqaulified because of illegal decks so do we just keep it as is and team godspeed moves into the loser bracket or do DSSCRA and timer rematch idc either way i just want to sort these things through also guys the rule is there for a reason just respect it i know it does seem done but RR does have a point earlier if you have to put commentary and what not just do it in a seperate post ok?
-.-

Yeeeah, no. I would not like it at all if my team still moves to the losers bracket, especially since I just won a match that I would not even have bothered with if I knew my team was going down with 1-2 anyway.

Since this is messed up to the point of no repair, I propose a solution:

After round 1 is done, hold a special round where post editors and their opponents can redo their match if both sides agree to it. After that, people should know better than to edit their posts, so make everything auto-loss, without exceptions.

Team Obamanation is moving on, correct? Two of the opposing team's members haven't logged in for over two weeks, while my team members were active. I have a PM with more proof if needed.

I will take Timerclock14's and DSSCRA's match has not completed, and they will need to play a match to see who wins and who loses. I will ask a rematch with same decks and everything. I want everything to stay the same except the fact that your posts are edited

So they have to use the exact same decks in the order they posted them in?

Also can we please abolish the rule in later rounds? It's only delaying the event unnecessarily.

Personally, while I'm not competing in this event, I understand why the rule was written, and seriously it's in bold and underlined and dropshadowed and everything on the main post.  It's not like you can't add any further commentary you have in a later post.  Just follow the damn rule!

Did you ever think he was trying to follow the damn rules and hit the wrong button? Stuff happens you know.

And what's funny here is that someone who edited his post less than three minutes after his post gets punished the same amount as someone who edited it over an hour later. And then someone else who did the same thing didn't get punished at all.

It is unfortunate that the host didn't notice xdude's edit until it's too late.  That sucks.

But EVERYONE HERE read that rule -- or if they didn't, they deserve to lose for not having done so.

End of story.  You read the rules, you follow the rules, you play the game.  There isn't any wiggle room here for anyone once the event starts.  Someone wanted to object to that rule, it could've and should've been done during signup.  Once the event starts, that time has passed.

And if you hit the wrong button, you double-post.  Plain and simple.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

whoa I haven't checked this post because our team won 2-1 now just because spike edited his post 4 minutes after the insert (and nobody posted ANYTHING in the meantime) he gets a loss?

ridiculous.

i know that rules are rules,
but we are not damn robots...
what is the difference between editing a post with results (illegal) and double posting results (legal)?
Spike posted his decks, then edited the post (you see the edit times) while nobody posted a thing after that...
what's the harm in that?
Oh yeah we are stupid robots and we have to enforce the rules >__>

The reason the rule was made in TPvP2 was because select individuals were editing their battle results with different decks than those originally posted, and the result was claims of cheating and others of the like.  It's easier on everybody, organizers and players, if people just double posted instead of editing the battle results.

As Essence said, it's extraordinarily easy to see in the rules thread.

The big issue as I see isn't so much the rule itself but the fact that it's different from all the other pvp events.
