I was hoping he wouldn't change deck or choose another creature oriented deck. Luckily, he sticked to his FFQ deck. I rage potted his first two FFQs, the others (along with the fireflies) died a fiery death. I had no fahrenheit the whole game and I drew my firebolts very slowly. Had to miracle once. He played a reflective shield, which I countered with my own.

Game 3 - Loss
Used the same life deck. I made this deck specifically to beat a bolter deck. I knew an icebolt deck does not beat a firebolt deck. Unfortunately for me Shantu got out an early fireshield. Both of my morning stars were in my last 6 cards unfortunately. If i could have pulled an early star i might have won.

Faced a Fire/Life stall. Done some nice damage in the early rounds, but a Fire Shield killed my Rustler. He Adren'd a Pheonix and put up 2 Bonds, but my 2 Dragons were still on top. In the end I won, with 65 HP and both of my Dragons at only 1 HP.

He got a nice start with Immo-Gemfinder-Golem, but My Freeze-Arctic Squid-Spirit came out on top. 2 more Golems on the field spelled danger for me, as my squid lacked the needed quanta. I plaid the Ice Shield which haxxed nicely for me. At that point he had like double my HP (80-40) but I wasn't going down any time soon, as I had Heals and Freezes ready. At one point in the game, he was totally frozen, and had only 15 HP more (54-69). I realized I had to be lucky, and had to rush fast. Drawing some Heals would've helped as well. Sadly, my shield stopped haxxing, but I got a Heal as well so it was OK. For the first time in the duel I was in the driving seat, with 20 more HP (60-40). After a grueling fight, I won, at 1 turn difference.

That combo is not that bad. Also, you have more skill than that. All you need is preparation. *looks at Trials*.
