No but really, good games jippy. Some connection problems in the second game, but it was a good match. From what I've seen, he built good decks, but I was able to predict them, and that became a huge problem for him.

I correctly predicted that jippy would go Rush then switch into Stall. Turning point in the game was when I RP'ed his 9|5 golem, and jippy realized I had rage pots. I foresaw more damage coming, and RP'ed one of my own Steam Machines when I saw him dump his whole hand. Outrushed him.

He had a bad hand, ended up with only 1 light pillar which got deflaged early. He forfeited after a desync happened.

Some other interesting tactics/card choices I did not discuss, you'll know about them soon enough when you face me.

He described it well, I knew he was going with steam machines, but had no real way of stopping them.  My thoughts were to outrush and out damage him, but neither of my decks worked.

Higurashi 2-0 gavsword

gavsword employed a good strategy: creatureless protected Titanium Shield with Poisons and BB. Would've almost worked coupled with Plagues in the first duel, but alas, Dragons have a bit too much HP. Second one he didn't get the quanta for one anyway.

It never lost against predicted decks in testing, and worked just the same here.

He seemed pleased with it, and felt like he had a chance to win with it, if only it worked right. This time he didn't draw any EA's, so I stole his Shields twice. Wouldn't have mattered though.

Good games, gavsword. You did about as well as anyone could've with this matchup.

As for those wondering about Devtal, I did some testing, and it lost more than a balanced Darkness deck in this matchup. So there you go!

I was too worried about Devtal and it cost me. If she had played that, it would've worked. I expected her to play something else the more and more I thought about it, but didn't see this coming. Oh well.

Opened about perfectly. PA'd Titanium Shield, 6 poison and EQ. But I was confused as to why she was playing pendulums. When she dropped the black dragon, I understood and realized she had me.

I couldn't really think of how to counter this. I could tell by the lightnings she played late that momentumed DS wouldn't work. Thought about graboids, but it wouldn't work well in a duo against anything she played. I knew I was in trouble and hoped for the best. Added BB's as a prayer to the RNG gods for something to beat Black dragons, though I knew the longer it went the more they would hurt me.

Sorry to put you in this position team, but hey we still have two more games to battle back.
