Hi all,

I'm really sorry that a little desync generated so much bad talking. I don't really appreciate to be called a liar but I gave you the win and I am not gonna retake it. It's not the most elegant but its a victory for you Nils. I hope we will battle again later (in semi-final for example) and that I will kick your ass (or you mine) with a bit more nice talking.

Next time take screenshots. Do it when the game says your opponent is timing out, paste it in word and save it, then repeat on each turn you take. I can't tell yall to replay if you don't have any evidence.

I did not realised he would claim the win but I will be ready next time.

The fair thing to do in this situation is have you replay the second game, using the same decks and marks. I will give yall two days from now to make up the game, since I know yall have difficulties finding each other.

I apologize to everyone else for any delays this causes, but this is, in my mind, the fairest way to do things.

I don't think we should delay the tournament more. The others wanna play and I understand it. I think you can not force people to play fair. I ask enough for a rematch. I am really sorry for my team-mates but the win is for them.

Pervepic 2 - 1 Essence

Very tough games and I was really lucky. First game I won easily because of his extremely bad draw. In the second game, when I played with the same deck, his adrenalined creatures destroyed my Bone Walls and I wasn't quick enough to build any defence that could stop his creatures. And in the third game I decked him out with the help of my annoying Squids and Walls. Luckily he didn't have any creature control in his deck nr 3.

Round 1: Pervepic brought a neat little Flying Weapon deck featuring Arsenic and Eagle Eyes. I had a FFQ/Bond deck that would have done lots better if, instead of drawing all 4 of my Emerald PIllars up front and a total of 2 Air Pillars, I had, say, drawn more of the 11 Air Pillars and less of the Emerald.

5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5c5 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5cg 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5uo 5uo 5up 5up 5up 5up 5uq 5uq 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5ut 5utRound 3: A truly epic battle.  I guessed he would go Speed Poison, so I played Flying Adrenal Staves with some Dragons and one FFQ as backup.  He played / all right, but it was a nasty stall deck with Plague, Bone Wall, and Squids, with an Ivory Dragon finisher.  I knocked him down to 50 HP and then the Plagues ate away my Adrenalined creatures quickly and built up the Bone Walls nicely.  He ran out of Plagues for a while, but by then he had 3 Squids up and running, so even my Adrenalined critters weren't really terribly effective against his endless supply of Bone Walls.  I broke through and got him down to 40-ish only to have his last Plague come up and secure his victory.  I decked out at 100HP for the lose.

MrBlonde defeats Malignant (2-1)

I would first like to thank Malignant for the matchup. Because i've been busy of late i didn't have time to make any decks so we both made decks for this matchup virtually on the spot. Malignant was also gracious enough to take me up on my offer of only using one deck for our 3 game matchup.

They were all very close games. I won by 1 turn each time. The 2nd game we desynced but i gave it to Malignant because most likely he would have won. Those armagios were a nice touch but my Queens created too many little things that pooped light as Malignant stated.

The ?? are air pendulums. Looking back at this deck i had too many pendulums (had waaayyy too much life quanta) and should have added a bond or two. Didn't test the deck but fortunately it was just good enough to win.
