Put together pretty quickly. I expected him to use poison, which he didn't, and I wasn't expecting lightnings. He has a stoneskin/phase shield stall. We desynced once, and he stalled for most of out second attempt. I forfeited with three turns to go to save a couple minutes. 1-0 to Dragoon.

Much simpler deck design. He used another phase shield stall with poison. After desyncing like over 9000 times (because apparently 6=9001) we decided to play once more, and we decided if one person and his AI beat the other person's AI and him, the first person wins. I got pwned. 2-0 to Dragoon.

That's almost the quintessential Speed Poison deck.  It usually doesn't have 2 Bone Dragons though.  But it's a fast deck.  It's actually what I thought ddevans was gonna play against me.

I used the black holes to stop his early development, getting my nymph and gargoyles out on the fourth turn. I ended up playing a few dragons, too, even. This was a close match, though: Despite being drained for quanta a lot, truddy02 managed to bless a pegasus to 15|15. Luckily, my shield held him on the last turn, but if it wasn't for that one, I'd have been toast.

truddy02 played a deck with heavy creature control here; Holy Light and Otyughs made my deck obsolete.I gave up when there was a 2|8 otyugh on the field.

I decided to play a more rushed deck. I got my damage count up pretty quickly, but was found against an army of photons and damselflies - I was quite surprised! It wasn't against the second to last turn, though, that truddy02 played Luciferin and Hope; however, my chargers managed to pick off the last 13 HP for a deciding win in this round.


And that's how it came to be that Team Crepusculum initiated the ass-kicking of Team Awexome.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news vrt, but that first deck is more than 2/3 Darkness.  You needed one more Gravity card to get 1/3+2/3.

Stayed in this one a lot more than I would have expected with all the quanta drain.  For a while my single Pegasus was getting through the dusk mantle every time.  Finally missed on the last turn.

Played this deck at exactly the right time.  I was expecting blessed vampires at some point and this was my counter to it.  Happened to line up in the right match and was able to control the board for the win.

Got a lot of the little creatures out early and they actually whittled away at his health pretty decent but didn't get to Luciferin until very late and the chargers took me down.  I had two light dragons in my hand and if I would have drawn the Luciferin one or two turns earlier I would have definitely had a shot.

It was a great fun battle and congrats to vrt.
