I took a risk - I only built one deck this time - I spent some time experimenting with other things but couldn't come up with anything I liked - and it looked to me like his elements would have a hard time countering it.

Game #1:
I dropped a discord, he stole it - I kept throwing out creatures that he couldn't counter, he never drew a bonewall or a steamie

Game#2:
Stupid haxx shield - I had a field of 6 creatures that attacked for the last 2 turns, got 4 hits, he won at 2 HP

Game #3:
First turn discord - that was the game

jmizzle7 1 - terroking 2

Before I get into the game breakdown, I'll just say that Terroking and I have a long history of playing each other. We know each other's tendencies and play styles, so every time I play against him, I know I'm getting into a potentially big mess. That's pretty much what happened in this match, as it turned out to be a battle of "who has more versatile deck building options based on the elements at hand?" With :entropy, :gravity, and :air, I was pretty much pigeonholed into Discord/BH or some kind of strategy to counter his myriad of deck choices. I did have a couple of options, but I had to roll with the decks I considered to give me the best chance to win, despite the fact that I knew a direct counter was coming in game 1.

Game 1
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vf 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 55t 55t 55v 55v 55v 55v 55v 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi
I had talked with TStar about the possibility of Terro using Accelerated Dolls, which would be strong against most everything I could play against him. Sure enough, he packed them and beat me easily. There's not much to report, because it was pretty one-sided. *nerf darkness...* :)

Game 2
Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55s 55s 55s 55s 55s 55s 561 561 561 561 576 576 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo
I got steamrolled this game. Terro's deck was insane... insanely illegal! He forgot about the 2/3 rule and packed a mono-darkness deck. :P A win's a win, yes?

Game 3
Code: [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55s 55s 55s 55s 55s 55s 562 562 562 562 576 576 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo
I changed the deck up a little bit from game two, but it didn't really matter, because EQ/Devourer > anything I could play in this match. Good match, Terro. It's nice to play you after so long! :) I'll get you next time, gadget...

Well, what can I say. I know jmizzle, and I know Discord/BH. Both are incredibly OP, but thankfully this deck was able to counter both once I got the Steal out on his Discord, and he completely failed to draw another until it was too late. Didn't see an AM I was afraid of, though it was rather fun for me to be the one playing Discord/BH :)

Looking at his deck it's kind of funny that he drew his sole Dragon, without it his only chance of victory is to beat me down with a bunch of 4/3s.

Not much to say here, illegal deck ftw. I was crushing him pretty badly though, as a bit of a consolation prize.

Well, frankly, jmizzle7 is such a noob that I could win with any deck I wanted. With this in mind, I assembled a Earth/Darkness lockdown deck (Making sure it was legal this time ;)) and pretty easily beat his Animate/Titan deck (I couldn't tell if it was Accel or Catapult, he only managed to get out 1 Titan+Animate before my Devs and EQs locked him down. he got a Wings out but it only prolonged the inevitable, I beat him pretty fast once it wore out.

GGs mizzle

And now, truddy, it's all down to you. All down to you. But no pressure.

Sorry team, wish I had more time to actually build some decent decks this week.  I let you guys down.

Game 1: LOSS
Code: [Select]
4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bt 5bt 5bt 5bt 5bt 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2Basically threw this together hoping he'd go Adrenastaves.  He went Scorps instead and I got stuck on 2 Dragons and lost by 8hp.

Game 2: LOSS
Code: [Select]
5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5c2 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 5uo 5uo 5up 5up 5up 5ur 5urI'm not even going to try and explain this deck.  In my head it was supposed to have Mitosis but for whatever reason I competely failed at putting it into the deck.  Pretty god-awful deck as is.
Carpe Diem!!

truddy02 2- TStar 0

Game 1:
Code: [Select]
5bs 5bs 5c8 5c8 5c8 5c8 5c8 5c8 5c9 5c9 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5up 5ur 5ur
Game 2:
Code: [Select]
5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5bs 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c5 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5og 5og 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5oi 5on 5on 5on

Favorable matchups for me in both games.  Game 1 devourers and scorpions were a good counter to an antimatter deck.  Game 2 I got 2 adrenastaffs pretty quick and had more cards so he conceded rather than wait for the deckout.  Good games TStar.
