G3 I considered an immo deck but ultimately decided against it.  Instead I quanta tweaked Sudden Killer and added FHs and was sure I could handle any counter.  Never even considered UGs...

Sorry team.  On the plus side, majofa gets to play this round.

Kevkev used a firestall with dims. Used this deck as a tweener to fight off a immorush type deck and hopefully fast enough to beat out a dim stall. First game we desynced mid way through and had him down to 30+ HP but he would have dimstalled to the victory here i think. Next game i might have had a chance except RNG decided that they wanted me to draw all 3 squids. Anyways got him down to 33 HP but the dimchain shut me down and 6 *4 shockwaves does not equal 33.

Kevkev used the same deck and was not expecting flying tridents. Shut down his fire quanta at 22 and fortunately he got his farh late. H4x shield helped a bunch and won on the last turn before he decked out with me at 5 HP. His last fahr strike missed as well so i could survive

Decided to roll the dice with this deck. If he went any kind of normal rush deck i automatically lose. Fortunately he went fire dimstall again (with some mods to fight trident) Many things transpired here that allowed me to win.

1. Drew my lone reflective shield.
2. Drew my lone light pend.
3. Drew 4 UG's
4. He did not draw his reflective shield. If he did he would have bolted me to death.
5. Icebolt 1 and 2 froze Kev's Fahr. If either didn't i don't know if i would have gotten the necessary quanta to kill him before he found his shield.

GG's Kev they were definitely nail biters and as always a pleasure.

I royally screwed this one up (guess I'm not a morning person) by not keeping enough aether to be able to play a dim shield. xdude saw I had played my quanta too low and capitalized.

I tweaked the deck a bit for the second game, but it didn't really matter. Squids can't do anything to quinted fire spirits.

I figured he would bring an alternate damage source since I had shields in both the first 2 games, and this deck does decently against both ice bolt stalls and chrysaoras.

Yes, "Other" cards the way the rules are currently written are not allowed by my understanding since they are not one of your 3 allowed Elements.

Also the 2/3 rule was not observed.

That is correct.  Since the round was over and it doesn't affect the results I really didn't delve too deeply into specifics to be honest.
