As I saw the first devourer I knew whats coming. I played my unstable gas' too late, otherwise I might had a chance. Dont expect 4 Lightnings as finisher. Wanted to try to finish with Fire Bolts, ignite two UG's and Fahrenheit, but i think that would be to less dmg either.

Second Game: Win

Finally this deck is played! I have this deck from beginning, but by circumstances it was not needed, because this actually was my first match. I always had enough quanta to play my creature or let them growth. Also, it seems TorB had not a good draw. Mine was perfect. I think if he had use fractal on a minor vampire this would be tough. (or in the third round, cant remember :/)

In this round I switched one RP with one extra Deflag. I was thinkin about to put RoF in this deck, but I have decided otherwise.

nice games, comments later, gotta go

taker 2
TheonlyrealBeef 1

I guess I'm supposed to honor the tradition of starting of with a loss, no?
I had rather unbalanced draws games 2 and 3, and am sure things would've been different given better draws, but meh. Well deserved win, especially since a single RoF could've changed game 1.

Game 1 Won:

I never really got to deny taker of anything but his Air quanta, but it was enough to prevent him from killing me. Barely. 4 Lightnings in the end brought him in killing range of my few creatures: I never drew more than 1 Fractal.
Game 2 Lost:
PC-Devtal

First guess was this was some wierd EQ/Fire Bolt stall or Lava Golems, I knew the latter could mean trouble and that's what it was, yet imagine my surprise as I saw it had Rage Potions! I failed drawing another Devourer for quite some time after which it was too late to deny taker 1-1
Game 3 Lost:
CC-Devtal (again)

The last deck I saw was easily deniable, at least so I thought, but lack of Darkness quanta and a full hand of Fractals were no match for taker's relentless speed. Just one Lightning while facing tons of creatures didn't help either. 1-2
Yes, I even discarded one Fractal after Fractalling Devs.

ggs
I had a control deck ready to deal with rushes, but it wouldn't have worked against Hematite Golems anyway. Shame on me for totally ignoring these when I was predicting matchups. And now I'm no longer undefeated in this TPvP :(

The_Mormegil 2 - 1 bogtro
Whew. Nice games! :D

First game I thought I'd see a denial deck so I just rushed as hard as I could. Godly hand with two first turn golems, a second turn Graboid and anothe Golem led to a quick 6 turns victory. The odd moment where on the second turn bogtro had two devourers out and I had exactly 2 quanta of every kind and an unevolved graboid out and the devourers trolled me by taking BOTH time quanta made me rage at the screen, but it was no use in any case. Almost EM'd him (96 hp I think).

Second game I thought I'd see a CC rush so I stalled with Phoenixes. Earth Firestall trolled me again (War deja vu -.-). He kept Rage Potting my Ashes and my phoenixes died just after entering the field for that pesky shield. I slowly went to 50 hp and was bolt-nuked.

Third game I thought I'd see the Firetroll again (since it was a deck that would kill most of my previous ones) so I went for as hard a counter as I could field. Whole World. Mith once said it was a good Firetroll counter so I picked it up and played it. Still pretty close to decking, but I wasn't really in danger as I had another Fractal somewhere in those last 5 cards.

Something I was working on for a while - Quanta denial at its finest. Unfortunately, this doesn't do very well against pillarless decks.

After I saw the last game, I knew I had to pull something out to have a shot. Fortunately this was a pretty good counter, worked pretty well, and relatively easily won.

Round 3: LOSS
Same deck as round 2 (Damn you random.org!). Whole World counters firestall pretty well, and I was lucky to get as close as I did to holding on and winning. Misclicking a rage pot didn't help, neither did forgetting that rage pot on an 8|6 creature to make it die next turn was very stupid. Kept drawing full hands and having to dump stuff off, which really sucked. Fahren might have made all the difference as well.

But in any case, had I won this game with this deck matchup I would have been pretty lucky even with a perfect draw. GGs Mormegil )

game 1: What?! Unbelievable! I picked the wrong Pokémon!
good old firestall, stalled out XD came down to me having 11 hp and him having 10 but a field full of dragons + poison.

game 2: caught a Pidgy and gusted to victory!
immo rush started off fast with a first turn phoenix and a second turn discord,  after that i only drew novas and immos, about half way into his health i still had one phoenix and my discord craped out on me and gave him 7 :light wich was enough for a sanct, he kept playing them but eventualy i managed to out damage him with my phoenix's and discord and if i remember right there was a lone rol.

game 3: Viridian Forest,
as i was wandering around lost, regretting the fact that all i had to fight with was a stupid slowpoke tail and a poke ball, when i ran into the mythical Pikachu!
not wanting to get shocked to here after, i sat down and stared into its eyes hoping we would come to understand eachother, after about 26 turns of just gnawing on my slowpoke tail and staring i threw the pokeball! it managed to hit and capture the pikachu, i guess it was super effective!

entrostall! started off really crappy and slow but managed to get a little damage in before he put up phase shield, i deflaged all of his sancts and it came down to the last 3-4 turns which is when he made his move with a gold dragon and fractal, but i had 2 antimatter's and a pandemonium waiting that plus the dissipation shield and FB gave me the win

thanks for the match pikachu it was really fun, and now to continue my adventure to be the very best like no one ever was!
