WHEW! Just... whew. Really - I feel from my side this match is summed up by the statement "WHEW!".
rob77dp 3 - 1 Submachine
*note: I fail at in-game basic math. /note
Game 1 - LOSS (0-1)Early neuro against me meant the Dim's didn't help much. Fractal is a BIG bad self-mutilation against it. No real chance to win this. Well done here Sub.
(I'm still not so good at in-game math-ing)
Game 2 - WIN (1-1)WOW for this game. I see Sub's mark and think my mindgate of TLS confirmed.
Spoiler for for the rest of this story:
Then see Entropy quanta hit the table and suspect Entro-Light stall (AM, Pande, Diss, Miracle, Sanct) and begin preparing OTK/TTK calculations. On an early (by length of game standards here) turn Sub summons LIGHT Dragon!
Can it be? Yes, a dragon that can survive Pande and Holy Flash for me to PU on... Dim's reliably blocking damage and flowing in nicely I go for the OTK by Arsenic-on-table-with-counters + PUx3 on Light Dragon + Bone Dragonx3 + ... ... ... OH CRAP! I have NINE Aether quanta with in-hand Fractal for-the-kill. I cannot OTK and suddenly fear a loss as I had quick-chained my Dim's to clear my hand last few turns. Sub pande+AM+Miracle+etc's. It leaves him with a couple dragons and me with a frozen drag and two AM'd dragons. However, I can now Fractal so I do and play 3 more Bone Dragons. They hit strong and Sub is now in-range for next-turn kill and empty-handed. Suddenly, BOOM Sub top-decks Imp Miracle and has just 12
to cast it. 100 HP just like that and enough damage to kill me on his NEXT turn. I have just dragons in-hand from empty-hand fractal a few turns ago. However, BOOM I top-deck Dim #6 and survive another couple turns to over-take the AM'd dragons with new fresh ones from hand (Fractal'd before). There it is, a win I _thought_ I had in the bag with OTK from his Light Dragons then thought I had lost by horri-bad math then thought I had won from poor Pande's for Sub then thought I had lost by Sub super-duper-top-deck then DID WIN by return-serve-super-duper top-deck. It is a shame for certain neither of us recorded these duels and especially this one.
Game 3 - WIN (2-1)Sorry to reveal my Plague quantity, Sub. *sheepish-grin* I drew the lone Imp Plague opening-hand and with Sub winning coin toss it was perfect to Hulk-smash the 3-Vu's which had just been activated by Sub (about to turn in to x6 Hope wall!). I then hung on through a series of GotP re-summoning against early Eternity that got me over the multi-Luci healing hump by a tad to spare.
Game 4 - WIN (3-1, end of match)VERY glad I left in the seemingly-excessive quantity of Recluse as Sub got Eternity going early again. I had 2nd turn upped-Arsenic and a couple quick re-summoning Recluses which pounded away. Early-Arse OP, here.
Overall, I had a good time Sub and hopefully you could enjoy it a bit too. If nothing else, game 2 was exciting, right? (Losing always kind of sucks, so I always feel a bit lame using these lines, but really do 'Hope' you enjoyed this anyways)
