Tried a classic deadly momentum deck, with shields, since tests showed a successful play
usually meant a win, with Shriekers/Graboids dropping at a good rate. He won the toss, but he got a 1 pendulum hand, so I thought I scored the initiative. I got trolled. None of his Shriekers/Graboids died at all. When he played a frog, which I was expecting lycans instead, it died after the second or third attack. Didn't draw another momentum for an eventually drawn second scorpion. At some point after 3 Novae I played a Black Hole, which raised me to around 55 health at that point. I got him down to 19 hp with 18 poison, and the single momentum scorpion out, but he killed me before next turn with lively shriekers.

Tried a different approach, though I knew it was just as chancy as the last. He won the coin toss again, but only two pends this time. Win? Hell. No. Topdecked a Nova to play a discord, so it screwed me for a bit getting my skull shield up. Again, no Shriekers/Graboids died this time (except for one that died when he killed me due to a virus), hell, no creatures did, not even that lone frog was there to die. Managed to get a heal and a staff played, but it was all useless with lack of his creatures turning into skeletons.
While I may have been epically trolled, I do however blame the overpowered and unrestricted use of Nova for ease of quanta not of the three assigned, and Discord for its scramble capability against duos and trios (also monos, but we couldn't use those anyway). Graboid and EQ qith respective synergies just made it worse.
