Thanks for the matches Nils. I was really scared of purify so I didn't use any poisons! :D

Floodingstall of doom! I was trying to counter fractal gnomes/dragons... It had enouh stalling power to win this match however. Won by fractalling his Toadfish.

Match 2: WON

Pretty basic rush + CC + Dims. Alot of Lightnigns were played this match so it took quite long to finish. Dim Shield was the deciding factor in the end. I felt it wasright to finish with a lightning (also nice to save in case of a last turn Dim!)

Great Matches, was fun to mess around with :water for once :D

he had four types of pillars/pend and played them right so my EQ didn't have much power, ice shield and lightnings delayed early game and them dimensional shields came. already used 2 bolts on the dragon and couldn't kill him so decked out. 0-1

second round:

i hoped he'd go for his stall again, plan was to play creatures with silence to burrow them, and it's easy to break trough shield chains with silences and lightnings for his lonely creatures wich he'd fractal. but he took a creatures spam... had a decent start with fast silence and killed a toadfish but he had many spiders and toadfishes coming, drawing 3 lightnings on my creatures made it easy for him. 0-2

great games jappert, already hoped for nice matches like this against team carebear.

Good call on not using Purifies there Nils, I really didn't wanna take the risk of a poison based deck.
I like how you thought in the 2nd match, I wonder how a match vs my first deck would have ended up.

I also had to chain Dims early in that first match, since dropping even lower in HP would bring me into Bolt-kill range (the screenie is made after he bolted me). Had 3 Dims in hand and topdecked a new one 1-2 turns before I really needed it. You would have won if those last 3 dims were at the bottom of my deck though!

Spike 2 - Me zilch

This event hates me...

1st game:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 50u 50u 50u 52g 52g 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 52q 52r 52r 52r 52r 52r 542 542 542 8pk

RNG laughed at me when I drew zero bonewalls in 15 cards.  Was 1 turn away from winning regardless of the poop draw.

2nd game:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vf 4vf 4vf 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5of 5of 5oi 5oi 5ol 5ol 5ol 5on 5on 5on 5on 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 8pr

Went back and forth between an AM stall and this before settling on this.... FML.  Deck matchups meant that the one pillar draw was only there for a lulzy effect.  Spike became so bored with the unintimidating nature of my deck + quanta draw that he decided to ping my quanta one by one as it was drawn.

Did anyone get the number on that drunken driver that just kicked my ass?

10 men is awarded the victory over Iman00b8, as the latter player was unable to play at any time during the round and his teammates made no efforts to secure a substitute for the matchup.
