I was expecting entropy & gravity and attempted to counter a quanta denial with another quanta denial. He had momentum-scorpions. I just got destroyed.

Round2: No way i could stop the poison, so i decided to tank it with the above deck. He made an epic opening first turn 3 nova momentumed scorpion, third turn another and he set up turtle shield & eternity quickly. I stole those things and outhealed while poisons on me and mindlessly zerging horde of vampires in play kept increasing (had over 30 poison counters when i won.). Was a fast but very scary round.

Round3: This was kind of funny as i quickly fractaled a few vampires just before he set up eternity & turtle shield both. Seeing how close last game was, i didn't want to risk waiting for 1-2 steals so i fired vampires when i could. Caused me being locked by eternity, but i trusted i would have enough vampires on board since he couldn't kill them nor deny my quanta. He didnt draw momentum too long while i was locked by eternity and turtled by turtle shield (no steals). I slowly killed him with 5 to 8 vampires depending on my quanta. Luckily i had played a nightfall before being locked down. I think it was EM.

I used this deck for all 3 games.

1st game: Won.
2nd game: I had the best start I could've expected, but he had an even better combo and beat me.
3rd game: Lost.

1st. lost was a really dumb here, silenced pu-ed dragons beat me.
2nd. won. mutated skeletons with discord.
3rd similar deck as mine, except this time he won the poison race, and no dims at the wished point.

I expected stall, probably with Dimensional Shields, and so it was. Draw was good so 3 Silences in a row with 3 and then 4 Purple Dragons gave me a win.

Besides this deck was a bit stupid ) RNG also gave me too less pillars and valuka had a lightning to kill my elf. I lost but since I won the last game my team won't punish and kill me, I hope.

It was my turn to play stall. My stall appeared to be staller then his stall so I won.

light_sefi is awarded the win in this matchup for being clearly more active in attempting to set up a match as evidenced by the PMs sent to me, as well as his request for a substitute since he would be asleep for the final hours of the round.  Squipples has not logged into the forum since 11/30 and none of his teammates requested a substitute for him, which means no effort was made at all on his or his teams part to play the match.

I agree with TStar's decision but "no effort at all" is too much.
If Squipples hadn't been active on forum since the very beginning of the round we would have done something with his disappearance. But since he was active on 30th and said nothing about his problems I posted him and light_sefi messages only at night from 1st to 2nd of December and started to look for substitute only at 2nd of December morning. But chat was empty and I found only TheIdioticIdiot who had no time to play till 16:00 when light_sefi was already offline. If I only had known that light_sefi requested the substitute for last hours of round or if I had known that requesting the substitute even though TStar is offline would help us...
But, yes, Squipples were too busy to play and we reacted too late. Poker Faces were definitely more active in attempting to set up a match.


With our help or without it THIS EVENT WILL BE SWALLOWED BY COCOA ABYSS!!!
