Wow was the a frustrating start - thank goodness I had a patient and understanding opponent - we desynched 6 time before we got in our first game
Deck #1: WIN

With 6 desychs I got to know my opponent's deck fairly well - I had two options to try and win the match - either I out rushed him - his quanta seemed to be coming slowly to power those shields - or I could win if I got a trident in play before he got an earth pillar - then I just shut off his ability to play pulvy and then his ability to play shields.
When we finally got a match that we could play thru he got an awful - RNG hating - draw - not a single Phase Shield or Pulvy in the top 15ish cards of his deck
Deck #2: LOSS

Having seen his deck I was fairly confident that my version was leaner and faster - however I drew only 1 single earth pend in the first 15 cards - no way to get pulvy out faster and not enough to EQ his pillar stacks - I got steamrolled here - but I suppose the RNG is like that - gave me the first game and took the second from me
Deck #3: WIN
Same Deck as above - first turn I dropped 5 Earth quanta sources and top decked my pulvy on turn #2 - however he played a protected puvly shortly after and we proceeded to dance around - me waiting to finally draw EQ's and shut down his production and him waiting to draw damage to kill me. In the end I think his deck size killed him as he couldn't draw another Shield to continue the chain.
