Talk about getting lucky with this match up.  Desynched the first time, reconnected and had nearly the exact same hand as before.  I was a bit afraid to see both OE and Wardens used against me as BB or EQ would have ruined me, but I managed to PU patch's OE 4 times extremely early which pretty much sealed the game.  Stone Skins held me off for a while, but I chipped away at his health all the same.  1-0

I was pretty confident about this match up from the start.  I didn't draw a single shield, but I didn't need them; after I zapped 2 of his Shriekers he forfeit the game early.  2-0

The Dialbeater. It did its job against what I think was a Blessed Dune deck. I didn't actually get to see because I got a Dim up before he got 3 to spare after an Hourglass. Won without taking any damage.

Version 2 made in anticipation of a counter Reflective Shield. No dice, he played Deja Hope and won on the last turn thanks to a Dune Scorp's late Neurotoxin. He would've otherwise won by deckout.

He had fat decks, so even if he had a Sanc, I'd deny him before he would be able to draw and play it. Packed Drains in case Hope would get out of hand. As it turned out, I didn't need Fractal to deny him as I drew 5 Devs in succession. But the Fractal came anyway.


I'm glad we were able to get the matches done. Your team turned out to be a threat not to underestimate, but our plan to clean up loser's bracket proceeds. First target: rematch with those Silly Faces.

Round 1- LOSS.

I play a ridiculously crazy gambit in hope using her Fractal Vamps against her, as that seems to be her favorite deck so far. I don't even bother testing it, and have pipe dreams of using her vampire dagger against her and decking her out. She plays lobotomizer and I rage because my whole deck has been countered and I didn't really seem to think that one through. I try to stall and have a miracle in hand but hesitate playing it and Higs spams drain life with a ton of quanta. Definitely not one of my brightest ideas.

Crazy ideas are my forte but this one has actually been tested and proven. The nice thing about this deck is that no one suspects even a hint of light within your deck until you put out luciferin with 9 dunes and the opponent scratches his head. Higs proves to be a very obstinate foe as even when it's clear that I've won she continues on draining my life to get another turn or so but with no damage. Neurotoxin seals her fate even though she spams dim shields.

Higs uses Pestal, and I anticipate this and have a few sancs in deck to prevent this. My hand is complete crap, and she draws devourer after devourer and I'm quanta locked. I give up and we exchange pleasant talk while I watch my deck get beaten by devourers.


Good Games people. Just sucks that this is the end of Trollstorm. For Now.
