hainkarga 2 - napalm 1

In general, i decided not to use permanents. I prepared 10 decks and only 3 of them had DS. Too scared of deflag D:
Tho almost all of them had nightmares, so sweet against all the fast elements she could use

Lost 0-1: She had a bad opening hand and she thought i had a devtal. however, i didnt have devtal and the tides turned after she commenced PU'ing my dragons. Somehow, i didn't draw lightnings. Lost by 1 turn. I prepared 3 variants of PU dragons. I hope i'm posting the right one :p

Won: 1-1: I decided to go more aggressive on PUs. Swarmed the board with battalion of dragons. Nightmares worked very well too.

Higurashi 2 - 0 valuka

Good to know my TPvP prediction skills aren't rusty. Editing with decks.

Expected Dishole and got it. I didn't expect BE Armagio and Pandes though, but rather more offence, which meant I would've probably won by deckout rather than damage. valuka gave me the win with his 3 cards left and I didn't stay to find out if the last Fractal would kill or deck out.

Realised his best bet of beating Vamptal would be a massive stall. I built a counter on the spot and I was right on the money. I didn't expect the Fractal Aboms, so I was glad I packed my own Dims. I only needed one Steal, if even that, and spammed the rest on his perms on the last turn.
After looking at my post now, I realise how much more fun it is for spectators if they have images. So I'm gonna try to remember screenshotting my future matches.
And yes, looks like val's decks are both illegal. >_>

Yeah, they both are illegal decks, and 2nd one is a a bit odd deck too.
So it is 1-1, its up to light_sefi now.
Next time valuka, but re-read the rules please and grats higs.

willng3 2 - 1 light_sefi
Just wow.  These were some really intense games.
Game 1:  LOSS

REALLY close game here.  I expected Dims, but underestimated Lobo a bit.  I got him down to 1HP but unfortunately wasn't able to draw another Momentum to get my 12 attack Dragon up to 13 and then KO.  0-1
Game 2:  WIN

Good old Frogtal to save my hide yet again.  I modded it to prepare for Dims with Silences and the final play was absolutely beautiful as I was able to Silence + Fractal and then Silence again next turn to stop the Dim Shield nonsense.  I love Frogs.  1-1
Game 3:  WIN
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink

5bs 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5c5 5c5 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 5de 61o 61q 61q 61t 61t 61t 622 622 622 622 8pu

Based on the first play I knew I was either facing a Fractal Mummy deck or PU Dragons and I got the former this time.  I changed my deck build in case of a mirror Fractal match and it definitely paid out big time.  He surprised me by playing a burst Silence + Mummy + Fractal move similar to what I had done in the previous duel, but unfortunately he mistimed the Silence slightly as he managed to prevent my Dim chaining, but was not able to follow up with another Silence during the next turn.  I topdecked a Staff the turn after, putting me at 10HP and narrowly escaping Lightning kill range and played another Dim.  He could not continue his Dim chain (I noticed the first he had played was when the Shield still had 1 turn left, attempting to stop my Silence strategy from the previous duel) which allowed me to narrowly win.  2-1
Awesome games.  Playing like this makes me remember the mind games Aether puts you through in dueling; I don't think my heart rate will return to normal for another hour or two.

Fractal charger against his momentum dragons. He used dragons and 2 momentums at the same turn to avoid my lobo. 2nd to the last turn I had 13 hp and he had a 12 atk momentum dragon. Figured that if I lobotomize it, he can get a momentum and still kill me with it. So I did something else with my aether quanta, forgot what I did though.

Mummytal! One of my experimental decks. Very good against anything without dim shields. It kills healing decks. *points 2 preceding charger decks*
But, alas, he had dims. Then, misplay. Used lightning on a frog and used dim shield on the same turn. Had I reserved 1 of these, I should have won. But there's still hope! I drew my mummy, silenced him, and fractalled, expecting aether quanta for the next silence. Suddenly, noticed that it's death's turn for quanta. No silence for me! Dim shield hides. GG.
