My take on elemental advantage:
- Slight advantage for sefi for three reasons: easier to do damage, easier to defend (BW is huge), and mass-CC. The likes of Staff and Heal deal with Poison quite well, but having more effective offensive options and more defensive options is always an edge. We had to tag-team sefi to win here, so yes, teamwork matters.
- Slight advantage for me. This is solely because Dishole is such an obvious pick and so easily countered by Aether and Darkness. Heavy CC, defence and healing means I had an endless amount of stamina compared to him. Steals over BE is a huge PC advantage as well, which is clear in stall vs. stall.
- No advantage. hain has a bit more synergy here between elements; mainly the stamina from Aether/Darkness, but Nap has more ways of doing damage. Since that's important, the Life element would've helped hain much more if he didn't already have Darkness. The battle element is pretty much useless for hain, but at least it's not a crutch like it was for valuka.
(I was an inch from suggesting ImmoGolems for Nap in the last duel, but decided to leave it to her. That's how close that duel was.)
