Bit of a shocker here, had a horribly slow draw and got slapped down by a lot of early EQ. (5 or 6 in the first 20 cards). I had a solo gnome giving me earth for my own and I had a dragon out eventually along with fog. This kept the game in some sort of contention for a while as he had no real aether quanta for ages. Eventually things got better for him and I thought he was holding cards as he knew I'd deck and expected more fractal bursts but they never came after he passed up into double digit aether, guess I understand why now but this game really shocked me wasn't expecting this much hurt from the stall. Fizzled to a deckout.

Pulled out something nicer for this game. Hand was godawful this game, was pretty painful to play. He double stoneskinned and I was pretty damn frightened of seeing more. He relaxed his chain at this point probably expecting to deck me safer if he held the dims a turn or two later. I silenced twice to gain three turns of damage with a burst to end him from 230~HP.

Was fairly scared of EQ this game but got a PA after a while and pumped out all my aether pillars. I got a quick pulv and fractal gnomes and beat down to victory from there.

Still learning the rules.
 very cool game, when I won the first battle and than in the second I was at about 200 HP, full of basilisks and dimensional shields, I was sure I would win. Than Bonestorm pull out his silence cards plus a fractal of stone dragons... wow.. I still held on two more turns I think but Bonestorm just "silence" me LOL

Turn 1 discord+graboid but late EQ, he started a chain, but I had my trusty maxwell and the toss win if he would chain to deck-out.At a point, his shields ran out and I killed him in 2 turns.

It is STRONGLY recommended that you play the match even if the results don't matter.  Some players may only get the chance to play twice during the event and it would be unfortunate if they missed out on that opportunity simple because a player from the other team didn't feel it was worth the effort to play since his/her team had already won.
