I made the mistake of dropping all my pillars and not staggering them, so my quanta production was limited for most of the match. He got a few hits in with discord before I put my shield up. From there my pillars got depleted, but I dropped my dragon as soon as I drew it. My last fifth shield came out with no pillars, but I drew a crucial pillar which was never destroyed. With two cards left I unleashed all the bolts I had and the dragon finished him off.

Again, notice the four stacks. I made the mistake of swapping out my bonewalls for dimensional shields at the last second, and he used the deck I dreaded seeing more than any other. His connection borked between the match, and we desynched three times. I realized that my deck had an incredibly low chance to win, and I forfeited the match to move on with the rubber match.

This match was very strange. I figured his deck would crush me, but he only had one pillar in his starting hand. I dropped a squid and two poisons on turn two, and he had 8 poison counters by turn 5. It became of cycle of getting him down to a critical HP and then watching his HP go back up above the 40s due to stone skin. I stocked up 5 icebolts, and I threw them at him the turn he didn't draw the stone skin he needed.

Great match Oni. Like I said in chat, when this is all done we can swim around coral reefs and sing Kumbayah. After the Swamp takes over everything of course

Unexpected outcome, 1 earth pillar draw and didn't get any for quite a few turns. Had to SS earlier  in fear of bolts. Eventually couldn't draw what I needed at all.

game 1: went with a bunch of phoenix and some deflags in case he would care skull shields that are nasty for em.  He just had bone walls, I went smoothly by and won without much problems

game 2: went with the evil yet predictable firestall ... he went with a deck to kill my phoenix, so his skull  shields we're useless and his squids we're almost laughable (they died against my wall).  He did do some poison damage, but I had 3 sancts in play to cover that damage.  We got a desynch in the end, but I was winning then and won after which he didn't.

Root started playing shields quite early.  Got a bit of poison on him which was nulified by Sanc.  Waiting till the end to fractal dragons, I unleashed them a turn early in an effort to avoid being silenced while his shield was down (which he had done earlier).  Ended up being about 7 damage short.
