OK teammates, time for you both to rescue us from elimination. Blacksmith took me out so we trail 0-1 in the brace.
rob77dp 2 - 3 Blacksmith
*note: I fail at in-game basic math... AGAIN /note
Game 1 - LOSS (0-1)I did not draw any Bone Wall this game. That was in 14 cards of a 30 card deck packing x3. A bit un-luckky as just ONE and I almost certainly win this one.
Game 2 - WIN (1-1)Same deck I used in game 1. The 51 HP win is misleading as 'smith had MAJOR damage on the table about to batter-down a BW the turn after I lost.
Game 3 - LOSS (1-2)I suspected that Blacksmith would bring mass-CC most every duel since I had Aether for team-element. However, I thought I could sneak in a win with cheap-spam predicting that he would use the Earth-quanta-card NT Poseidon deck shown in his Round 1. I was wrong, 'smith drew his RoF + Dessi, and it cleared the field on his turn 7 before my turn 7 would have ended things. D'oh!!
Game 4 - WIN (2-2)I was hoping Dim's would be unexpected. I was finally right here. SLOW SLOW quanta draw meant I had to slow play everything, however only the WORST of bad draws would mean a loss for me. I did indeed draw Rustler opening hand. >.< That is the risk, right?
Game 5 - LOSS (2-3, end of match)*siiiiiiiighhhhhhh* Well done Blacksmith. It was RAZOR'S-EDGE close at the end of this one with nothing but coin toss and relatively equal draws deciding who got the 1-0 upper hand for their team. I got to use Silence as intended - so not forever-alone! I did not win the coin toss. I lost the duel. It was the end of this match.
Thanks for the fun games and enjoyable time, Blacksmith. Good luck continuing forward in the event - and hopefully your win against me is in vain as my teammates rescue us from my loss!
