Won the cointoss and got a pretty much lightning (no pun intend) start, first turn destroyers, second turn discord and it was all over by turn 5, I'm not sure what serprex was playing because I only saw light mark and aether/entropy pends. Also an EM.

vs Chaos Psions

Psions > Dissipation shield. In one turn it went from no creatures to 3 11/12 psions thanks to some PUs. And from there it all went downhill. More CPs and more PUs and more psions. I anti-mattered 2 and bolted another but by this point there was naught to be done.

vs PU mutants

Dims did as dims do best. I just sat pretty behind my shields watching a colourful mutant army of mostly fireflies grow before Fahrenheit had hit enough for bolts to finish off. Not a very interesting game but it was a win for me so I won't complain.

vs FracAngel Stall?

Serprex started with more quanta than I did. I deflaged 2 sanctuaries and fractaled my phoenixes when I could but 7 ATK > 4 ATK. The dim shield at the end was unnecessary as I couldn't have won but I had ran out of deflags so it just added insult to injury.

vs Blessed PU rush?

Playing this again was a risk, since I knew RoLHope was still out there. Quote from our team chat: "Regyptic: yeah, the worst thing in an immo deck is a handful of immos and no creatures to burn". I think 2 immos in hand with no sparks, got a nova which meant I could have a turn 3 discord which played havoc with serprex's quanta. I got a second nova ~turn 5 I think so I could play and phoenix and then immo it for destroyer. After that I managed to pick up some speed, but so did serprex, with recluses and psions. Won with 8HP and 2 destroyers on the board.

I should've stuck with PUCPsion. w/e idc demesne's only comment was "lol" so had to fit it in. Also apparently mutation is PC? Bull (not that it'd matter, since he'd firebolt it, but still). First mutation: 1|1 Deathstalker with guard. He misplayed by starting dim chain at 18 while I only had said Deathstalker

Used this, had absolute fail draw, only reason i didn’t die in like 6 ttw was he had a low quanta draw (he was using TU dragon bonebolt; would’ve had a chance with air quanta/ffqs early, also no OE ever)

RNG decided to troll us both with fail draws. Once dragon managed to play hope I sent caution to hell and started playing everything. I managed to squeeze enough damage through hope to win. Mainly because he had little CC.

If I had packed one more steal (or got a better quanta start) this would have gone differently. Even so I managed to create a situation so that the game was entirelly up to RNG (7 dragons vs dusk and miracles, after he run out of CC). His dusk didn't worked on my favour though.

Fearing Siphonary and knowing I'd need three steals to beat it I tossed it in. He played a kinda weird deck (was scared of LS dragons at the beggining). Since I had spare dragons and didn't need all my PUs to OTK I tried to rush him. It didn't worked out so I sat quietly until OTK came (dat bottomdecked fractal made it take forever).

I decided that dragon knew I was expecting Siphonary, and that Sancts are little help against PUgons. So I put all my chips on him not packing any sancts. I was right, stole the OE he managed to play and he conceded when I reached the lock.
