Dear Sharpfin Architecture,

Following your construction of 'The Whale of Stone' statue, we have decided to commission you for another statue, near the city center. We require a large statue of Emperor JonathanCrazyJ (praise his slime).
Attached to this letter is an ode to the emperor, to be inscribed on the statue.
The statue must have a large plinth, with space enough for two bards, who will publicly sing the ode once a month. If it helps your creativity, this letter has been delivered by two bards who will perform the ode for you. (external link)

Praise his slime! Praise his slime! Praise his slime!

A dragon, said they is a horror,
With which no fish can compete,
Yet our Emperor is no common fish,
But a tentacle, none shall defeat!
Who hungers for dragon meat!

His bravery took him to battle,
To plunder for the empire gold!
For this journey he needed a glorious steed,
And he tamed the leviathan of old!
He is mighty and savage and bold!

Though he knew that the land was an evil,
It was dry, it was bright, it was hot,
He battled his way through the air and the clay,
With the strength of his Kraken's Blood heart!
And the bodies of foes left to rot!

But most wondrous of all is his wisdom,
As he faced the beast in the gloom,
With great cunning he wrought a an unthinkable thought,
And flooded the dragon's room,
And its lair became its Tomb!

So we praise him for his courage!
We praise him for he is divine!
We praise his might, it is for us he fights,
He is just, he is brave he is kind!
Let the people praise his Slime!
