	Fungus We met it in the forest to the south of the city. It called out to us in a high, rasping voice. It was damp, under the tree, and a single, brown, stinking thing looked up at us. "I can aid you, wet ones. But you must help me spread my children. Draw the water from my flesh until I pass away. The powder of my spores will grow. Will grow. Will grow. They will grow you an army." With the aid of dry spells and the Survival Traits, our creature slots quickly fill with Spores and Fungus, dealing steady, CC resistant damage to the opponent.
	Dry Spell We were thirsty, and could sense the moisture in the creature's body. We decided to accept its offer, and drew every last drop from its frail body. Two of these triple your board presence whenever dropped, as well as acting as blanket mild CC against your opponent.
	Survival Trait This creature impressed us. Its will to pass on its genes, to allow its progeny to multiply at the cost of its own life appealed to our love of evolution. We ourselves had evolved from the mighty Kraken, no longer needing the bulk of a body, living as tentacles alone. This survival trait would help our army be ruthless in battle. Save these for after at least one bout of dry-spell deaths, as giving fungus extra HP is counter productive. They are to be used as a second wave of multiplication after the first double dry spell, or in late game as a heavy burst.
	Empathic Bond Over time, we grew to like the little creatures, multiplying around us. Being boneless, slimy and cold, we felt a certain bond with them. And that bond only made us stronger. Especially in mid-late game, this card represents excellent value, giving solid health regeneration allowing you time to finish filling the field.

It's good, obviously, but very very basic.

Sorry, but it's just a fractal rush, I can't see this getting many votes at all.

Or is it more complex that I think? can you link the cards so I can see their combo? It might be mitosis is a better choice even if it makes for a worse deck, it's more thematic

My gut is telling me that we want to avoid water cards, as most of those will not be "things you've never seen before, but they are here to help you fight." Thematically, we control the seas. Therefore, sea things are not new.

My imagining is that these are new allies or mercenaries who have been ravaged by the rise of the dragon.

I don't really like to post here, but I should let you know:

I was surprised when I saw Spore, because I did not think it was a useable card, only a token card. Apparently it is not a token in Cygnia, but it *is* a token in OEtG. I talked a bit with UTA who added the card into Cygnia and took a look at the original thread for Fungus, and nothing really points to this being intentional. So having it usable in a deck is most likely a bug. I will not change Cygnia at this point or disallow your deck if you decide to keep the Spore, but keep in mind that is is probably not intended to be a card and this might affect voters' decision.

Given that most of us have pretty much no experience in cygnia and don't know what should be in there or shouldn't be, that's a bit disappointing to find out.

Well of course I don't actually know if this will affect votes or anything, it might or might not afffect mine. Just wanted to let you know. I didn't want to say this in public since then other teams might kinda guess what one team is building, but if you want I can make this statement public too (not mentioning you of course).

Talked to CO, and we have decided not to do anything about this. CO pointed out that this is also unlikely to really affect any votes anyway, so do as you like.
