Correct.  As the rules stand right now an Energy Adept may use a max of 4 novas due to the Floating Heart Arena's Environmental Disadvantage, which means he may not utilize the Environmental Advantage.

+ First Blood: In the first two matches you may use 5 additional upgraded cards.
- Stubborn: You may only switch between two different decks each round.

Right.

so its also possible to change (also unforced) the upgraded cards?

It might be helpful to think of it this way: decide on two unupgraded decks.  During the first two matches you must use these decks but you may up five additional cards.  The cards you choose to use upgraded can switch.

Btw I intend to discuss these clarifications with the other Event Organizer, The Mormegil.  We'll make any rule changes and clarifications public before character sheets are due so keep an eye on this thread.

WEAKNESSES
To begin the event choose two of the following Weaknesses for your Gladiator:

No, you can't cancel the advantage for your opponent.  You may ignore either the Environmental Advantage or the Environmental Disadvantage.  I don't imagine very many players will choose to ignore the Environmental Advantage.

One more question:

These two seem to interfere with eachother. The only one who can use nova's is the energy adapt, but he can't use 6 of them because of the disadvantage.
Can anyone use nova's in the Flaoting Heart? Or just Energy Adepts (they will have a crazy advantage here if that's true).

Due to the Environmental Disadvantage, an Energy Adept can only use up to four copies of Nova, one of his Style Cards.  He's therefore unable to capitalize on the Environmental Advantage.

Other Styles may use up to six copies of Nova because it's an Arena Element ( and  ) and it's not among their Style Cards.

It's very strange for the energy adept to have a disadvantage there; that place seems like home turf for him thematically.

Sounds much more exciting than League! Well, SUPER awesome except for being forced to bet on yourself. Probably best for me to stay out and bet on someone who has a chance.
