*phew* much tougher matchup then i thought. All 3 games were really close and came down to the wire. SS was at a huge disadvantage but put up some good decks.

Game 1 - Crap i forgot what he played. I know he had an entropy mark so i think it was CP/blessed deja vu's. My sundials took him by surprise (he forgot i had upped cards) and allowed me to stall just enough to pull out the win.

Game 2 - Step used a blessed deja vu deck with a gravity mark to eat my angels but forgot to put an eternity in. If he actually had an eternity in this game would have been really really close. All my angels were at the bottom of my deck and my morning star came out pretty late. End result, SS decked out.

Game 3 - He had an air mark so i figured blessed/raged pegasus once i saw fire pillars. I actually would have died the turn before i won if he actually had one more light quanta to bless his pegasus one more time. We both had crappy starting hands (he had 5 rage i had 5 miracles) and my 2 pillar draw was almost my downfall.

Great games SS and as always it was a pleasure.

i',m ded  :death

good games MrBlonde.  With no healing and no shields, a light stall with morning star (and archangels) was simply too much for me to solve.

Here are my decks (nobody look):

Game 1
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rh 5rh 5s4 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 6u2 7ju 7ju 7ju 7ju 7ju 7ju 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 8pj

I figured the spectre of deflags would scare him away from dim shields in game 1, so I thought I'd take a chance with a CP deck.  Fail trio failed.  I forgot he could up sundials, and I died sad and confused.  CPs boosted +2/1, +1/0 and +1/1 on deja vus, but i didn't have great chances here.

Game 2
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rq 5rq 5rq 5rq 5rq 5s4 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5 8pl

figured i would try eating his angels / nymphs.  scarabs got fed, but morning star chipped away and my damage output was too low.

Game 3
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5lb 5lb 5lb 5lb 5lf 5lf 5lf 5lf 7ju 7ju 8pr

damage output was high, but didn't quite get the quanta fast enough to rush him.  i managed to get a 38/3 peggie by the end, but he had just enough quanta (despite a poor draw on his side as well) to rush me with archangels, miracle second-to-last turn, and morning star on last turn for the kill.

my gladiator certainly stayed true to his roid rage roots, though ... he was juicing until the bitter end
